Hello fellow Christian.
Atheists love themselves that's all. You can't begrudge them for worshipping the primordial soup. Love for self is the "void" and "empty" at the beginning of the creation story.
Later Jesus follower from a fellow follower.

Hmm, no hate mail here; however I have to point something out:
Your whole life you're going to travel thinking "God is Love." While other people will see more than just that, they will eventually learn that "Everything is Love" - however, atheists and christians will never understand that: because they are too busy fighting with the "God" part.
Atheists can love. If you say otherwise, you're commiting logical fallacy number 1: you're giving a complete generalized statement that can be proven incorrectly too quickly. You're saying "ALL ATHEISTS" - and, well, I can show you my grandparents - whom were married from age 16 and 18, lived till they were 70 and died two weeks appart from each other. Biggest love birds I ever saw, and they never did any of the commonly-found-in-Christian-household things, such as raping their children or abusing their kin, getting drunk, cheating, and then running to their God for "repetance" and all that jazz.
If you still need more proof, re-read your Bible. God is everything and everywhere, all might all powerful and all that: and thus, even if they are Atheist, they are part of God - so yes, they know Love, if and when they chose to do it.

Gee, so that is why all the Xtians are so loving to everybody and have no hate at all toward even us poor loveless atheists. WOW, am I ever glad that I can find true love just by adopting an Imaginary Friend that I can load with any attributes that I want. Now I can fill any void ares in my life with the properties of my imaginary friend. If I am incapable of love, God to the rescue, If I feel unlovable my imaginary friend will love me more than anybody real ever could.
Sista, you must have had a hard life to be so starved for these things, It saddens me to think of somebody as smart as you in such a state. Hate mail, no not from me, I am capable of love, sympathy, respect, anger, and every other human emotion. And I can express them with no need to feel guilt, blame or shame. I am not sure if you can. But maybe you are just hungry for attention, and want to mix it up a bit.

Probably in their own way they think they know what "love" is. I feel sorry for every atheist in the world as they will never know the true value or meaning of anything including love without God in their life. What do they think happens after they leave this earth? I know earth is just the start for me and I will see everyone that I have ever held dear to my heart again in Heaven. I know you think the same way as I do and WOW don't we have something to look forward too. It is the same way when an atheist curses and swears taking the Lord's name in vain:if they do not believe why are they using a name of someone they think does not exists. I certainly hope you do not receive any hate mail or nasty comments on your questions but be prepared. Please just always concern the source of where it came from.

No hate mail from me...
Yes, atheists love. I don't quite understand how you can believe in love, but not in God, but I think in general atheists find a way to explain this. Also, since they experience love, it might be they feel this is something they can "get their head around," but may feel that God is "too out there" to be explained or proven. My understanding is that atheists try to operate from logic and proof.
BTW, you hit on my favorite question to them: Did you love your parents? Then prove it.
Personally, I think we need to live and let live. It's important to respect everyone's path as right for them, even if we may not personally agree with it.

God is not love. Of course atheists love, they are alive aren't they? God is an invisible man that was made up to control the population. You wouldn't buy something you couldn't see at the store right?
I'm not atheist, but I think these questions are just silly. We should focus on just the loving part. This question just creates more hate.

Love comes from everyone. Religious people do not own LOVE. God truly is Love but Love is not always God. If you are receiving hate mail because of your question then love is not around those whose are sending it to you and neither God is.

Of course atheist love......what a dumb question. Just because your definition of love is your god, does not mean that every human defines it the same way. We are all different, Christians are not the only ones who can love. Have you ever tried to read about and understand another beliefs point of view? Have you done any kind of research into other cultures and ways of life? By your question, I think not. Your own religion says judge not lest thou be judged........ Do we love......geeze what stupidity!
