Today during my meditation and prayers I felt this overwhelming sense of Gods presence and peace. For those of you who believe in a Creator I am wishing you this feeling also. For those who do not believe I am wishing you peace, joy, and happiness.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

Why are so dumb and illogical to realize the truth of Jesus our Lord
and Christianity. Why they don't read the Bible. Don't they understand that Christinity is the only Truth and Jesus--the only path?
Why?
Because The Bible says so.

I was so pissed my boyfriend and I were at a resturant and he told me that he had been cheating on me and he was going to leave me for a white woman because "I wasn't feeling his struggle","he only liked lighted-skinned,he also said some hurtful things about my family"they are too country and ghetto"(BTW my family is proper, he just said that becaus eof my country cousins) and he dumped me because I stopped relaxing my hair. WTF? How shallow is he? Why are so many Black men like this? I don't mind brother's dating white women but why do some of them have to bash their own women?

open letter from the International Campaign in Defence of Women’s Rights in Iran

No to Sexual Apartheid in Iran!

Shari’a law has ruined the lives of women in Iran. You might ask how?

• Do you know in Iran women are stoned to death for having sexual relations outside marriage?
• Do you know women do not have the right to choose their clothes? It is common knowledge that in Iran, the veil is compulsory and women who defy it are severely punished, arrested or flogged in public?
• Do you know that women and men are forced to be segregated in public?
• Do you know that many jobs are closed to women because of their gender?
• Do you know that women have to get written permission from their husbands or male guardians in order to get a job, study or travel?
• Do you know that women do not have the right to divorce and in the event of divorce they do not have the right of custody of their children?

The list is endless. In one word, sexual apartheid rules in Iran under Islamic Shari’a law.
You might find these facts hard to believe. It is unfortunately the bitter truth for millions of women in Iran. Parallel to this devastating situation, there is a strong movement for a better humane life in Iran. Women in Iran have managed to force their way into all aspects of the society including education. There is a strong movement against the veil and all anti women laws. The struggle against sexual apartheid is visible as a strong and radical movement in Iran.

I am a bisexual-bi-curious, I should say-female teenager. I've never been with a guy or a girl (I've never kissed or gone further with a guy or girl), but I'm pretty sure I could go either way. Should I tell my parents/family/friends? I mean, I'm pretty sure I'm a bi, but some people say it's too soon to tell. Should I tell, if I am pretty sure?!

I think that everyone and everything is essentially made of the same thing. Possibly when we die some part of this thing lives on. I believe in time this thing will be described by science. No god, no Jesus, no judgement. This is something I've thought about for a long long time. Anyone care to enlighten me?

It was real interesting. I was downtown and I was getting a lot of attention from a lot of South Asian people( particularly men). They were asking me are you from India, Pakistan, or Bangladesh. I told them no I'm Black. I was told that I look south asian because I have dark skin and silky/wavy hair. But really I have Black, French, Creole, and Native American heritage. I also been mistaken for a Somalian woman or a Guyanese woman. Weird.

Real answers please!!

My auntie is very ill and has been for a long time. Now she is thinking (quite strongly) of going to see him. She goes to church every day and her faith is very important to her. She is a Roman Catholic.

Now she has an hip replacement operation coming up she is cripled with Arthritis, Somebody who has been to see this John of God has told her not to have it but to go and visit this healer.

Now, i'm a bit of a skeptic, and fairly enough i believe concerned. Although if he can do her some good then im all for that too.

I would like people to answer who have had personal experiance of this John of God, so that i can make an informed dession about weather i should support her and go with her or if i should actively discorage her.

I would like her to have her operation, to releif the pain, and then go and see him. idealy. At least at the worst she has had a trip to brazil, although it maybe be costly and painful to travel.

there was a case of a teacher having sex with a student who happened to be 18 at the time. I believe she should have been fired because she abused her position. I don;t believe that she should have been prosecuted though since the student was 18 and legally of age. What is your opinion?

Hey Atheists and Muslims--are you sure that you are saved if you die today? No you are not--because Atheists believe in Anti-Christ
--they are not sure of Salvation. Muslims are not assured salvation--
they think their good work and prayer MIGHT get them to heaven.
Only heaven is assured for a martyr.
BUT YOU ARE NOT SURE. That proofes you are wrong.
Only our faith in Lord Jesus' sacrifice paid for our sin. Yes,
only Christians(Methodists) are assured of ETERNAL SALVATION.
why you don't understand that? Don't you read the Bible?

what do you think of this. How does it make you feel.(i feel like doctor phil hahah!)
chained down by reality cut open by stress
So down to earth her wrist has a gashing crevis
So scared sad and confused a mess
She feels like everyone could care less
Black mascara and eyeliner running down her pale pink cheeks
Along with the tears of misery puring down like a stream
Red lipstick smeared across her thick lips
The same color as the blood running down her wrists
lieing on the cold linoleum floor
her dark hair across her face she has been here before
Her brown eyes filled with a pained __expression so far from dry
she knows she has to leave here this is her last cry
cracks open a bottle of toxic stuff poors it down her throat
falls down to the floor as her favorite band pumping through the speakers plays the last note
closes her eyes her brain turns off
her boyfriend comes home and he wants to scoff
Why because she looked so elegant in that black dress
with her pretty little face and dark makeup her black hair a mess
he holds her as tears fall from his face
One last time he kisses her ruby lips and can taste her beauty and grace!

If yes, please provide scripture that makes a DIRECT reference to this PARTICULAR situation.

If no, please explain why religious guys are so hesitant to express their love for each other like Jesus wanted. What is so terrible about two guy friends kissing or showing affection in other friendly ways?

What is the farthest you would go (what actions would you take) in expressing your love for your best friend of the same sex if you knew they would like it?
