Real answers please!!

My auntie is very ill and has been for a long time. Now she is thinking (quite strongly) of going to see him. She goes to church every day and her faith is very important to her. She is a Roman Catholic.

Now she has an hip replacement operation coming up she is cripled with Arthritis, Somebody who has been to see this John of God has told her not to have it but to go and visit this healer.

Now, i'm a bit of a skeptic, and fairly enough i believe concerned. Although if he can do her some good then im all for that too.

I would like people to answer who have had personal experiance of this John of God, so that i can make an informed dession about weather i should support her and go with her or if i should actively discorage her.

I would like her to have her operation, to releif the pain, and then go and see him. idealy. At least at the worst she has had a trip to brazil, although it maybe be costly and painful to travel.

I was born and raised a catholic, but went my own way at the age of 12, and now follow basically the ways of native americanism (being a large part native helps with that ;) ) and this sounds no less silly than the shaman of my beliefs.

thats actually a wonderful idea. get what you *know* will help done first, as opposed to relying on faith. I'm by NO MEANS saying that faith isn't a wonderful thing that has helped many people (i learnt to not say that a while back =p), but why take the risk of something happening (relying on the mental) without the support of the physical.

good luck with your journey

i went to see him in Atlanta, i didn't have anything wrong with me, but now i feel happy all the time. if your a skeptic it won work, and if you dont take the herbs and adhere to the rules it wont last. you feel like going to sleep while waiting to see him, but you cant. he will heal you. that's about it.

I have never heard of any John of God, as a Christian.

I'm sorry for your aunt. I'll pray through..

JESUS CHRIST........................

for her safe recovery.
