Is it a sin for two guys to kiss each other in a friendly way?

If yes, please provide scripture that makes a DIRECT reference to this PARTICULAR situation.

If no, please explain why religious guys are so hesitant to express their love for each other like Jesus wanted. What is so terrible about two guy friends kissing or showing affection in other friendly ways?

What is the farthest you would go (what actions would you take) in expressing your love for your best friend of the same sex if you knew they would like it?

No. This is a cultural tradition.

In some cultures men kiss each other as a form of greeting.

Even in the Bible, see Luke 7:44-45, "Then he (Jesus) turned to the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? When I entered your house, you did not give me water for my feet, but she has bathed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but she has not ceased kissing my feet since the time I entered."

Kissing even began to be a Christian greeting as in 1 Cor 16:20, 2 Cor 13:12, "Greet one another with a holy kiss."

And 1 Pet 5:14, "Greet one another with a loving kiss."

With love in Christ.

I don't think it's a sin. I wouldn't kiss my best friend. I might hug them, but that would be about it. Maybe a kiss on the cheek. Not on the lips. Why would I want to do that?

Why can't you want a manly woman, or have her dress up like a man. and I don't think Jesus wanted two men to kiss maybe a kiss on the cheek but two men showing affection is gross
