The things give me the creeps. Ugh. I pray and hope they are just the product of many peoples overactive imaginations.

I think there are so many stars, which have to have so many planets and moons, some of which have to be similar to our own, that something, somewhere, would have developed. Even if they're just protoplasmic slime mold, I think there's life out there somewhere. People ask why they haven't contacted us yet. Maybe they aren't super-advanced, as in far beyond us yet, but they have to be out there somewhere. And if they're waiting for contact for us, we've only been sending out radio waves for about 75 years, and even at the speed of light, it's going to take a long time to reach the nearest star.

If we use logic (which does have many pitfalls) then there are many other solar systems in the universe(s). Many of these solar systems have planets very similar to our planet. Some of these planets are older than our planet, which would imply (but not necessarily prove) that they are further advanced technologically. If that is so, then it's quite possibe that they have solved the problem of travel between planets, solar systems and perhaps even galaxies. If they are visiting here, you may well ask why they don't make themselves known. Have you ever studied anthropology? If you can observe another culture without interacting with it, you can learn far more about it than just by blundering into it. Our own culture ruined several other cultures by simply walking in and saying "hi". This is only speculation

Sure I believe. I am sure there are billions of other planets with life on them in the universe. Not sure if they look like us in anyway though. I think a lot of what you hear is overactive imaginations at work, but I'm sure there are some out there that are factual.

I hope you're not being ignorant on purpose. It is impossible to move faster than light, so no alien could reach Earth (it would take thousands of years).

Also, do you really believe we are so unique? There are trillions of trillions of planets. Do you think that life only evolved on one planet? Come on. They must exist. And where do they come from? A planet at a hospitable range from a star. An easy question.

you need to go to David Icke, put his name on search.

I remember Erich Von Daniken, you might find David on his site also.

Reptilian humanoids
In 1999, Icke wrote and published The Biggest Secret: The Book that Will Change the World, in which he identified the extraterrestrial Prison Warders as reptilians from the constellation Draco. They walk erect and appear to be human, living not only on the planets they come from, but also in caverns and tunnels under the earth. They have crossbred with humans, which has created "hybrids" who are "possessed" by the full-blooded reptilians. The reptiles' hybrid reptilian-human DNA allows them to change from reptilian to human form if they consume human blood. Icke has drawn parallels with the 1980s science-fiction series V, in which the earth is taken over by reptiloid aliens disguised as humans.

Well considering how LARGE the universe is, there is no doubt in my mind that there are "Aliens". I think that there is no way that our planet can be the only with life on. We are just a tiny speck in our galaxy, and a tinier speck in the universe. I don't think we should fear Aliens because we are doing more harm to ourselves with the pollution and the wars than they could do to us.

i will answer your question with some questions:
can you imagine this planet the only one with intelligent life forms on it?...can you imagine how big is the Universe?...doesn't it seem a little bit illogical to think that our planet is the only one with intelligent life forms?....

If by alien, you mean life, then yes. I believe there is bacteria and maybe even other earthlike life.
