Whoa! Well this certainly a case of the kettle calling the pot black. Christianity is one of the most illogical religions there is! Personally I have nothing against any religion and there are "dumb" and smart people in every religion. Every religion is to a degree ilogical and that is why they require faith in order to believe in them but if you really wnat to argue this point let's take a look at chirstianity and Jesus in the logical sense. I'll even write it out in standard logical forms for you.
If you were created without a father, then you are god.
Jesus was created without a father so he is god.
but then if that logical argument is true this one has to be true as well.
If you were created without a father, then you are god.
Adam was created without a father so he is god.
Now that's logic yet I don't think there's any christian who accepts that last argument. Besides that if you want to argue against those two deductive arguments you can also use inductive arguments to come to the same kinds of conclusions. Think about it. If it's possible for god to create a man out of mud then why is it any more miraculous that he create a man out an ovum (a woman egg which by the way already contains 50% of the childs genetic code) all he had to do was create 50% of a humans dna and implant it into mary's ovum for this "miraculous" conception. There are numerous arguments that can show the illogical nature of the bible and christianity. I'd also like you to consider the logic of Jesus as messiah.
If god is perfect and all powerful, he would not change his mind
The old testament says a different message about the messiah than the new testament. Therefore, God must be imperfect and/or not all powerful. There is nothing wrong with accepting Jesus as your own personal choice but how stupid and illogical does it make you seem when you calim others are dumb and illogical for not doing the same even when logic is not on your side. I suggest you take a good logic course at your nearest community college. I'd also sign up for a world religions course if I were you.

Mmmmnm, I think you're being antigonistic...
Have you read some of the answers here? There have been a few that prove you are wrong. Some of the more informed and eye opening answers have been from atheists. Besides, haven't and aren't most scientists atheist? (I know many who did not hold the same belief as those around them still claimed to be Christian but the circumstances seem to indicate they only SAID what they thought was needed to save their lives, which, incidentally didn't work for some)
I just recently posted a question that mentioned Abram/Abraham TWICE (so that would be the use of similiar names FOUR times) and a Christian asked if I meant Abraham or Moses.
That is by far not the only example of stupidity on the part of Christianity. It seems as if you have posted questions and have received answers you judged as not as mentally advanced as the conclusions you had reached, so, according to your rational, should I say all Christians are dumb, based on the answers of some? Or, have you put forth an opinion without any proof to support it, therefore, making you out to be 'dumb'?

You have already answered Your question.
"Because The Bible says so"
Do You Have Any Doubt about it?
It must be so if The Bible says so.
If you question it means You Do Not Trust The Bible.
You Know What, If You are a Christian and Do Not Trust The Holy Bible, You Invite Wrath Of God,
And You Will Go To Hell.

The Bible aslo says that "By faith we understand that God created the world... etc...etc... (Hebrews 11)" They lack faith, hence they don't 'understand' this is a big mistery, and unless you receive the faith, you will be left with only your best ability to reason... which the world has yet to perfect it in order to answer the deepest questions of life. And no science in the world will come close to the faith factor. They will all end up agreeing, little by little with the truth of the Bible and of God, who is the truth, but by then there'll be no grace available... I am reffering, of course, to the passage that talks about the fact that every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father. This is yet to happen.
But without the faith, everybody else willwait till the end, and that's dumb, but is the way it is. Sin dumbs people, what can I say?

Now C.W. Why on earth would any intelligent person want to belong to a club you belong to? let's just go with your nome de plume for a start 'Christian Warrior!' Just how far did you have to disappear up your own rectum to to give yourself that little ego trip? And here's a little tip for you. Anyone who seriously believed that there is only one truth in this world is truly out of touch. But then I should have realised that, you're a christian! Oh and I have read the bible. It was mildly more entertaining than the Da Vinci code, but the plot line was less believable. You are a classic example of what is so repellent in Christianity, you are a smug f**k. And fortunately, for the rest of us, you also seem to have the attention span of a squirrel as evidenced by your question. You know at times like these I almost feel sorry for god if your the calibre of idiot he has to come running to his call? Give me none Christians any day! So much more entertaining... Oh and one last thing. Were you in a Gay night club when your profile picture was taken?

Illogical, eh? Why is it logical to believe in a book? Why not just pick any book and consider it "truth"?
Religion is based on faith, and faith alone. There is no proof that any of the "miracles" in the bible acually occured. So why not just believe in the Lord of the Rings or the Neverending Story? What is so logical about faith?
I have faith that when I walk on the ground, I will not fall through the ground because in my experience it has never happened. Why would I believe that god parted the Red Sea if I have never witnessed or even heard of this happening in my lifetime?
Maybe if I lived back in the years of those miracles taking place, I would be less skeptical.

The same reasons "some" Christians are so dumb, we're human dude. There are 6.5 billion people in this world, only around 2.2 billion are Christians. It really shows how ignorant you are to actually think that Christinity is the "only true path." I guess the other 4.3 billion "non-Christians" are going to burn in hell for having a different opinion and culture that varies from the Western world's? Sounds medieval and immature to me.... (And why don't you read the Torah or Quran, maybe because it's not part of your culture!)

Isn't is prejudice to say that non-Christians are dumb? Even Jesus denied the Jewish teachings and questioned his teachers. Don't you think it would be wise to question some of the things you've been told about your religion?
