I'm serious. What is the first thing you want to know upon your death and you're looking at the face of God?

Why in the world do cats the world over respond to the words "kitty kitty kitty"? I mean, what is THAT all about?! I'm telling you, this THE greatest mystery in the world today! After all, we've got nothing better to think about.....

but seriously, I've always wondered this. There isn't one word all dogs know, but my goodness -- cats everywhere look at you when you call "kitty kitty kitty." When I was in Thailand, I tried it, and by golly, if it wasn't true....

Okay. I'm going to start thinking about that little skirmish in the...what is it?...the middle west.....east?....again.......

..........sigh.............

Everyone is obssessed with Holy Quran's ordering to kill Infidels ( Although it is meant only when Infidel's attack Islam or muslims) However, matter of fact is that killing any human being in Islam is a sin and not allowed except when Allah allows muslims to kill someone for a justified reason. One of those justified reasons is killing Infidels when they attack muslims or Islam. Even then it is not prohibited to be merciful on such occasions. As a matter of fact being merciful is considered a level above then vengance or bloodshed. Thats the reason prophet Muhammed ( peace be upon him) and later other muslim rulers did not massacre people of other faith except on few occassions. In contrast Christian faith teaches that Jesus ( peace be upon him) will return and kill all non christians. Perhaps this gives an excuse to some christian rulers to massacre people of other faith like they did after first Crusade, Holocaust, Bosnia etc. I think human life should be respected at all cost. This double standard confuses me. Are Muslim women considered too feeble minded to make decisions for themselves? If I fell in love with a Muslima, and she fell in love with me, why would God forbid us to marry?

SDA is seen as a cult religion because of how it was founded and some of their beliefs. Do you agree? How you feel about Ellen White being seen as a prophet, even though her predictions did not come true, including Jesus return?

I love The Fish, but find their music too sleepy. I wish there was a KROQ- style station devoted to Christian music. There would be a lot more young converts to christian music if there was one! If there was one, what would you call it?

...the girl sat at the kitchen table and watched me perform fancy tricks with my mum's best glassware, but my mum walked in which startled me and caused me to loose concentration as I was juggling her fancy dishes? The dishes all broke as you may have guessed!

Or should I even apologize because it's my mum's fault that the dishes fell because she startled me?

(And, no, I do not live with my parents; I just visit them, and I recently arrived back from a holiday to visit them.)

Thank you!

What is the significance of Aug. 22? This year, Aug. 22 corresponds, in the Islamic calendar, to the 27th day of the month of Rajab of the year 1427. This, by tradition, is the night when many Muslims commemorate the night flight of the prophet Muhammad on the winged horse Buraq, first to "the farthest mosque," usually identified with Jerusalem, and then to heaven and back (c.f., Koran XVII.1). This might well be deemed an appropriate date for the apocalyptic ending of Israel and if necessary of the world. It is far from certain that Mr. Ahmadinejad plans any such cataclysmic events precisely for Aug. 22. But it would be wise to bear the possibility in mind.
A passage from the Ayatollah Khomeini, quoted in an 11th-grade Iranian schoolbook, is revealing. "I am decisively announcing to the whole world that if the world-devourers [i.e., the infidel powers] wish to stand against our religion, we will stand against their whole world and will not cease until the annihilation of all them.

"Many of the genes in humans and animals are descendants of ancient genes that have duplicated, mutated and changed their function. Petr Tvrdik and Mario Capecchi, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, US, have now managed to demonstrate this by recreating an ancient gene from two of its modern descendants." - New Scientist 07 August 2006.

I converted to Muslim about 5 years ago, right after 9/11. My husband and I both are and I have been at odds with some family members since then. Coming from Seventh Day Adventist, which I have found some interesting details about that cause for questioning, it is seen like an immediate path to hell. I disagree with the SDA faith and how it was founded, on a lie. How do you deal with family who you love dearly, when they treat you as if you are different just because of that? I think it is an over generalization because of the war that causes people to have opinions on things they have no knowledge of. I am an African American Muslim in America, along with many others of the fastest growing religion there is. I am firm on my beliefs and have to constantly argue it, I have the facts and yet they still refuse to listen, instead they ATTEMPT to fill my head with more lies that have facts to them that they are lies!! How hypocritical is that??

Five out of eleven people thought I am a pervert because I babysit my friends' children so she can work and keep a roof over her head. And in doing that, taking my young friends to the park, I am a pervert. Where has this society gone wrong? Why is helping and showing LOVE, not sex, to the young a wrong thing. "Suffer not the children unto me." For shame!!
