What would you say were the differences and similarities between Americans and Britons?

I truly believe that many of the experiences and even unpleasant ones at that have made me who I am for better or worse. I try to let them make me better and not bitter. I have found that adversity and struggles are when I grow best. I do not mean to imply that all bad things are good for you just that most of what I have experienced has helped to shape me.How do you feel?

Do you honestly think someone would CHOOSE to suffer ignoramuses who tell them they will go hell just for being themselves? Do you think someone would choose to have to hide their humanity at risk of being threatened, belittled, disowned, and prejudiced against?

I have this "friend", who forwards all these ridiculous e-mails to me. chain leters, stupid jokes, and most recently, anti-Mel Gibson mail (she is jewish). She has done this in the past. I have asked her nicely to stop, and she did, but now she has started again. I get ten to twenty a day?????

What would you do?

Doing a search can bring up thousands of hits...keywords can limit that to a manageable level...but when you find someone and hit "ADD" dontcha think they are wondering "who the hell are you?"

Perhaps a blog keyword search to help connect like thinkers?

I wonder if people really mean whatever they say in front of the term just joking? I feel like they mean what they say and just say just joking so the wont get in trouble or actually have to do what they just said. Anybody agree and do you think people should hold them accountable? Is the just joking phrase a cop out?

For those who do not like Christians. Did you have a bad experience with on?. If so who? When? Do you have family members who call themselves christians who yet are very harsh and unloving?
As for me it was my parents. It was all my childhood. It was stolen from me because me parents were so busy in church we had no time to be kids. And the people in the church were mean, judgemental, and scorned those who didnt look like, have the same tastes, and didnt go to church 3 times a week. They would treat my parents like bad parrents if we made mistakes, like laugh in church or something. In put alot of pressure on us and my parents.
My parents latter balanced out and apoligized for putting us through all that. I latter came to the faith because I saw God was good inspite of many of his people being ignorant. Please share your experience.

If Satan wants your damned soul to be put in his hell house and tortured, would he be carrying out Jesus/God's punishment? Is Satan working for God? Is Lucifer God's prison ward or something? Or is Satan equally as powerful as God , having his own spiritual realm in Hell, just like God has heaven? Do Satan and God duke it out a lot in the spirit world? If they have these realms, Heaven and Hell, where are they? are they close to each other, is one up and one down like depicted in the Middle Ages? Are they both outside the universe? Hot fire is in the middle of the earth, is the middle of the earth Hell? is Satan underground in the core of the earth?

I have never been a hardcore believer in past lives, I have always been very skeptical, until I start having memories of other times. For about a couple years now, I have had sporadic remembrances of me living a time around the 1920's/1930's, there are just so many images, names, emotions that come up that I can't explain, they are not from movies, and not from early childhood. Thse memories just seem to pop up from time to time, mostly while I am doing something very mundane, like walking up a flight up stairs or eating breakfast. At this time, I can remember two names from this life, where I lived, pieces about my childhood, the house I lived in, and other very mudane memories. My problem is now that there are just some memories that seem to be blocked, and they seem to be memories of bad things. How do unlock these memories, and how to I remember more myself? Also, is it common to remember all of this?
