If someone is gay ,straight ,boy, girl, black,white,brown,yellow what the hell does it matter? I am sick of people who think they have to cram their beliefs down other peoples throats. I am not christian but we all have common ground.1. believe in a higher power 2.be kind.... come on how f-ing hard is that?

I was thinking of getting a list of people with various views and pairing them up to debate various issues (Is there a God, Is the Book of Mormon Historical, Was Jesus Crucified, Should Homosexual Marriage be Legal, those sorts of things) via email discussions.

People could then read the transcripts of a debate if they'd like and maybe they could vote on a winner which could translate into some sort of point system.

Do you think it would work? God any advice?

Ever see that movie with Kevin Kline, where the whole school ends up standing up. The main charachter's Dad stood up he said he was gay, that was wilfred brimley. The mom stood up. Pretty much the whole room stood up. One guy stood up said he was gay but that he still liked chicks.

Not sure if anyone will see the point to this question, that I am not gay, but that if I was, why would God stop loving me.

I vote, I talk, I do all that....

OK... when is out soceity going to start making a change... too much sex and violence in the media and television. Crime never stops, girls are married and pregnant faster and faster. Depression in people is at an all time low, women and an increasing number of men feel less good about themselves. So I pose to you....
What are you and what should we as a nation do to stop or slow this process...
Put it this way, I would not want to be a kid growing up in the country.

Since of course the religion is left up to interpretation so much, so many of them seem like they are always on the look out to see who is a real christian and a competition to see who is the most christian...... They all of course think anyone who doesn't think like them will go to hell.--That much they do have in common.
But is this a good thing?
Is this why there are so many denominations in the Christian church? Once one group doesn't like the other's rules, they start a whole new church?
