If we are being "misguided" wouldn't you want to bring us into the light? Why would you keep your mouth shut while we live a "lie"?

I am not talking about forcing anything because you can't force anyone to believe anything you can convince them to do something by blackmail or putting a gun to their head but no one can change what you believe so what's wrong in sharing and hearing other's views?

Komodo Gold it's true certain people I have met have that certain aura about them, and I immediately know there is something different about them. I am a Christian and I recognize other Christians not only if they are preaching the word but the way they live, the way they carry themselves...

I have not found THE truth.
I have found A truth, which works for me.
I'm not you and it would be arrogant of me to presume that I know what is best for you. I'm willing to share what I know and what works for me. But, I full realize that what works for me might not work for you.
Wow I used the word "work(s)" about a jillion times in a few short sentences.

A lot of the problem is people don't really care about others for the most part. They may claim they do, but then they don't do much to help (donating stuff once a year is an example, or donating a large amount and getting press coverage of it solely for the purpose of getting good PR). For example, this might be a stereotype, but Catholics in general don't care about others in general unless they're catholic as well. If you're not one of them, they either shun you, or perceive you to be less than they are somehow (this isn't exclusive though, many religions do this too), and that's bad, because you're judging them instead of trying to guide them.
Another problem is people don't live out their lives the way they should according to their beliefs. Which looks bad in the eyes of non-believers. The other extreme is people who take their beliefs way too literally, acting out what's said in their religious books exactly as its told, rather than trying to interpret it correctly. Again, this looks bad to non-believers (esp. if they only follow some and not all the rules).
A third reason is simply because when they do try to tell you, most people just don't care either. I've had christians approach me asking me if I was saved, and I've done that to some people, but the general attitude is usually something like "leave me alone, I don't care."
The solution? I don't know to be honest. I've always sensed that the ones that "do the most" are the relatively humble, and don't announce to the world everytime they give something out (like some celebrities seem to do). If you see them, you can sometimes "sense" that they seem to have an aura around them, and that's when you should ask them about that stuff. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to tell you then (I've seen that stuff before, and it usually seems more sincere and serious than the ones who openly judge and cast you out).

Sharing is one thing... it's when 2 people talk about a certain topic... BOTH people get a chance to be involved in the discussion.
As far as personal beliefs, such as which God a person worships... the day a person brings a God to me and says "Here is the proof" THEN we can start discussing which one is absolutely correct. Ancient writings by religious men do not make something Truth. But, just telling people they are wrong concerning this, is merely opinion.

Sharing the Word of God is an honor! In fact, I think most complain about Christians sharing the Word too much. lol. As a VBS teacher and Sunday School teacher, I have learned an easy way to share the gospel. We go by A B C. It is that simple.
A- Admit you are a sinner. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23
B- Believe that Jesus died on the cross to atone for your sins. God so loved the World he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
C-Confess that Jesus is Lord and you will be saved! That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath reasied him from the dead, thou shalt by saved.
All it takes is this belief and what is called the sinner's prayer and one recieves the free gift of salvation. The "sinner's prayer" is not a made up prayer---it is simply a confession through prayer that one believes Jesus died and rose again for the forgiveness of sins and that you know you need him and ask him to be your savior.
Aww...the simplicity in Christ.

Sharing the God's news about God's salvation is nothing to keep quiet about. On the contrary you want to spread his gospel and give them that gift of promise. But you are most right in saying that if we know that it is a lie; then we need to speak the truth. The bible states that the truth will set you free. If I knew of something that was not going the way God had intended it or the way it was written then we need to speak against it so that others may know and speak about the real God we serve.

That is the rub. You see there are already people that do that (and think their way is the right way). You have all the missionaries, and people that knock on your door. Not to mention the invisible Gideons that have the bibles in the hotel rooms.
yes I believe that I have found answers to MY spiritual truth, however in my religion we are not "evangelists" we do not preach our beliefs. We realize that our belief and truth may not be what is truth for others. We don't even look for people to join us. Instead they seek us out and we welcome them with open arms. The world needs more people that DO NOT preach faith of one type over another. All religious paths lead to the creator, there is not end difference. The difference is in the path we walk and how we walk it. Just because I walk mine one way doesn't me you should, or that I should walk it your way.

I think that is the point of this YA section. I mean, a lot of people treat it as a Bible History sort of class, and some people are just arguementative, but I like this section because (for the most part) the questions are thought-provoking and sincere. I don't like people trying to convert me, but I like to hear opinions from people of all faiths on big issues, you know? I like to share what I believe, but I don't think it's right to try to force it on anyone else either.

I don't deny that Jesus is real. What I don't believe is that he rose from the dead. I also don't believe in God. After hearing all of that, you are probably wishing I hadn't shared my views, aren't you? Well I feel the same way when someone shares their beliefs with me as the truth. We all believe different things and should keep them to ourselves.

I do share when openly asked but to do so without a clear invitation would be seen as force feeding someone. The best preaching I can do is to simply live my faith and be available if someone asks me about it.

Well analogy. I want all the people out there to know that we all have sinned and are under God's judgment. We need a savior to save us for the laws can't make us righteous before God. We all are born under the dominion of sin. We are born sinful cause Adam disobeyed God and brought destruction on Himself and his generation for God told him that the day he sins, he shall die. Christ come in a human body, conquered sin and offer life to those who believe and put their trust in Him for God said that the Just Shall live by faith. So salvation is of faith through Christ, not of works.
