My exhusband is getting married in the catholic church and has requested me help in getting the church to recognize our divorce so that they can annull (sp) it themselves before they will marry him to his fiance. I haven't talked to him in 5 years and am a christian, but don't believe in the catholic religion of men running the church instead of Christ running the church. Can someone tell me why the church needs to annull our divorce and what it entails. I don't want to deny my ex husband his happiness, but since I don't condone the Catholic religion, I am hesitant to help....

Leviticus 11:9-12 says eating shrimp is abomination. Some Christians are saying its ok to eat shrimp because back then it was bad for them to eat because they might have got sick.

In 2006 we know how to cook shrimp and not get sick, so that is why the arguement is made by some Christians that Leviticus 11:9-12 doesn't apply.

Leviticus 18:22 says homosexual sex is abomination. Some Chrsitians state if there wasn't homosexual relations there wouldn't be spread of disease.

Its 2006. We know about diseases and about safe sex. We know about condoms. Just like we know how to properly cook shrimp.

Isn't it time to stop quoteing Leviticus 18:22 as a reason to hate gay people

People never believe me when I say I might choose to be Wiccan a little later in my life. Even here people are asking me if I want to worship the devil. Wicca is not about worshiping the devil. That's just lies! Wicca is the opisite. It's about worshiping Nature, The God, The Goddess and learning that your holy Mother and Father are always with you. I do not want to do this because I want to be goth or different as some of my friends think. I simply like the Wiccan religion. My mother is budist and my father is a mix of many religions, there's nothing wrong with that. Why is it that people think that I just want to be Wiccan for the fun and games? Does anyone know how I can convince my friends I'm serious? I tried telling them this but they didn't listen.

sometimes we think of God as like our dad on earht-if we had a bad dad, we are probably afraid of Jesus. but its not like that-Jesus cares heart and soul-in our worst condition he loves us totally, even x drug addicts, x people in lust, x porn addicts, even x self righteous religious people-he loves us all and desires to help us out of sin and be our savior and friend.
try Jesus he will never fail you-Revelation 3 vs 19&20 he knocks on each life to come in and deliver from sin to be our friend-pray as best u can-it will work believe me-i tried it all and only Jesus works -then every thing else in its order God first relationship second everything and ones third yessssssss

How many Christians or believers had experiences with "demons"?
If you believe in demon or Satan possession, why is it only "believers" esp. Christianity who get possessed? Surely Satan would find a more willing participant in one who has no belief.

A miracle is happening island wide in Buddhist temples in Si Lanka these days. A green light is been emited from Lord Buddha statures. I personaly didn't go to see it yet. But I met a person who to me is a truth sayer. Lots & lots of people gather at these places to wittness it.

It is OK for those of you who want to express pain over the times we are living in... For those who do not believe there is a GOD, if you have never studied the BIBLE and gotten an accurate understanding, my heart goes out to you. Or even if you just don't believe...
