In my eyes, they haven't done anything differently than the christians. Throughout history, as today, there has never been a people with more blood thirsty religion than the christians, yet they get a free pass, and the muslims and jews get the blame.

Because unfortunately Christianity is allied with capitalism.
They kill people, but they have the media on their sides and they do it with a "civilised" way using state of the art technology and manipulating excuses. A guy with some explosives killing a dozen of people is a terrorist, but an American pilot bombing and annihilating hundreds of innocent people just to get a dozen of terrorists (and make sure his country has oil and the big bully reputation) is a hero. Oh and the children killed are collateral damage...
Human nature and perception of situations...go figure..
What is funny is that people never bother to find out WHY terrorist do all these things.
Maybe because the US is taking advantage of their people and kill at will whoever is not on their side? nooooo....

However, the media's not to be blamed entirely. They report what they perceived superficially. They just don't dwell deeper on who really is making all the trouble.Many arab looking or muslim names appeared from the terroritst list, but are they really the ones who move the strings. They are simply puppets used in the name of islamic religion because they thought muslims worldwide would unite in behalf of this "muslim" disguised war mongers.
Before this "muslim's" terroristic activity, there was this "russian threat', and before that, the "chinese". Many stories were invented simply for black propaganda.

I am a Christian full of imperfections and I am currently studying with Jehovah's Witnesses who do not support warfare and stay neutral.. I am not baptized yet and hope to be some day.. I hold a special meaning to baptism and I know that I have much to change in order to be baptized.. This is my hope... Jehovah's Witnesses stay neutral and preach the good news that Jesus spoke of.. I am not going for the ten points as I know I will not be liked just the same for what I have chosen as my faith... But I am not out to please anyone other than owning up to my imperfections and sins... And this I will answer to GOD himself ... Not anyone else.. EDIT: For this very reason of hating all of the bad that I see and having children of my own I chose to study and through my study I came to realize the importance of understanding what LOVE is and who vengence belongs to. Vengence belongs to GOD alone. Even Jesus said no one knows the appointed time not even him. But only the Father who is in Heaven. So maybe the next time a Witness knocks on your door, with an understanding heart remember they are the ONE religion that has not killed in any kind of warfare or terrorism. Jehovahs name is a Strong Tower. And the preaching that they do is done with no begging for donations, they do not get payed to be at the Kingdom Hall and give talks.. They hold jobs to pay their bills and any preaching work that is done is done voluntarily.. "On their own time when they could be doing what ever they pleased, but they do this in hope that others will gain an accurate knoweledge of truth." And Jesus set the example for us to follow in his foot steps closely, and preach the good news.. And he is at the head of a government now that will never be torn down. â¥

For the same reason people perceive the christian religion as a war mongering culture. (Remember the Crusades? And now Bush and Iraq! OMG!)

I the past 100 years I do not recall christians declaring war on the muslims which they have done. They hate you for being christians and its not just hate they want you dead, its a different time a whole ballgame, I've had people try to kill or hurt me just because of my name , an I'm Mexican but my name is Israel

I think it's a stereo type. But you have to admit, most of the terrorists are Muslim. Plus they are cowards and kill innocent people because they think they'll go to heaven or whatever they call it. In my opinion, it is a sterotype due to terrorist activity in the middle east and in the rest of the world....suicide bombers, 911 comes to mind.
