The Bible does not support the existence of Unicorns.
The KJV of the Bible does use the word "unicorn," but the jury is far from out that this is the correct interpretation.
The word translated as "unicorn" is the Hebrew word, "arym." There is no reliable information that documents exactly what animal to which this word refers. The Hebrew Lexicon defines "arym" as: "probably the great aurochs or wild bulls which are now extinct. The exact meaning is not known."
Although the KJV uses the word "unicorn," the NIV, NASB, NKJV and many other versions read "wild ox." This is not the only creature mentioned in the Bible that's unknown to us today: the creatures called Behemoth and Leviathan mentioned in Job are mysteries which may not be solved in this age.
Having said this, I believe the preponderance of the evidence points to the fanciful imaginations of the KJV's translators. It was translated in 1611, during a time when unicorns were revered as mystical creatures.

It's interesting how matter of fact some Christians are in explaining away nonsense like Unicorns from the Bible. "Oh that's just an Oxen," they say. Well if we are such experts at translating the Bible, why have we not re-translated it properly so that all these translation errors are removed.
Numbers 23:22 claims that, "God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn."
Later Numbers 24:8 repeats and then elaborates, "God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows."
So are you guys trying to tell us that God is only as strong as an Oxen? Because that's pretty weak for an all powerful being.

I would also know where in the Bible it says there were unicorns. You should google an Artist by the Name of Robert Vavra if you are interested in that theory. Pegasi? Ther is no way that a horse could fly, and thanks be because who would want to get hit in the head by the poo!!!! Would have been cool, though, as I do love fantasy artwork.

Just so you know, the word unicorn really has nothing to do with a horse....it literally means "one horn".....however, here is a site that you might find some interesting info on this topic...it's all about the translation....
FYI....giants really did/do exist....it is a medical disorder (several of them really)....and the centaur at UT is just artwork...it's not real...Professor Willers (Biology) from the UWO created it as part of an art exhibit.....UT uses it as a way to teach the importance of skepticism

The bible has lots of fantasy stories that have no basis in fact, since most of the writings are the superstitious beliefs of a primitive people from thousands of years ago when they were ignorant and scared of the world around them.
In fact, *most* of the bible is fantasy stories that have no basis in fact. Bottom line: don't believe anything you read there :)

Since I don't base my reality in the Bible, I certainly don't think unicorns existed aside from circus freak shows when they grafted horns onto goats.
