Given the consequences of global warming, it is highly improbable that human beings will even exist in 230 years. And, given the high probability of a nuclear war in the next 50 years as the demand for resources radically exceeeds the supply, human survival to the end of this century is in question. As for economic prosperity in the US, given the size of the imbalance in trade and of the national debt, the US will be lucky if it has another 3 years of anything that resembles prosperity. All this and we've had six years of single party rule, said party dominates the executive, the legislative, and the judicial branches of government, and they claim to be the party of spending reductions...they just can't seem to keep their fingers out of everyone's wallets...everyone except the superwealthy who pay almost nothing on their income. Anyone interested in destroying the US should keep electing Republicans...they're doing a great job at derailing our nation.

of course, no country will ever touch us, because we have built up a society and culture, where we are on top and the only way to take that from us, is to destroy us, which all other UN countries would not allow because of all we do for them, we are not in a time of super powers anymore, the US is what is now called a hyper power, we 250 billionares in this country, that 100 times the next largest country China with 25..... so they have a loooooooong way to go

Definately not to the same extent nor in the same form, Europe didn't last that long, i don't see why the US would either...but it's extremely unlikely it's going to "collapse" as some of the ignorant anti-americans around the world are so willing to brag about.
