Will having baggy jeans go along the same lines as bellbottoms and permed 80's hair? What do the past generations think?

Of course you will.

Then after about 20 years or so some fashion mogul will decide to push the retro look and you will wax nostalgic about your youth every time you see some kid wearing that style.

For me (and my generation) it is/was low cut hip hugger bell bottom jeans that have seen a resurgence in popularity in the fairly recent past.

they come back every now and then. some stay away like leg warmers. but others like bellbottoms come back. some just don't leave the fad and keep doing the fad even if not everyone is still doing it.

Yes. I have noticed leggings with lace at the bottom advertised in a magazine. I thought it looked stupid in the 80's and wouldn't wear them then. It's like acid wash and fluorescent colours. Have you noticed how girls wear their jeans really tight and low, and then all of their flub pushes out of the top and creates a muffin, that will be a look to be embarrassed of in years to come.

Given the rapidly escalating consequences of global warming, it is highly probable that most people alive today will have much more important things to worry about than fads in the coming decades.

You'll be EVEN MORE EMBARRASSED. The rhyming baby talk of rap and the boom-chaka music without any melody is going to seem as hysterically funny to your grandchildren as the old Flash Gordon movie serials are to us today. The body-pierced jewelry may actually bring tears of laughter to their eyes.

Guaranteed.

You betcha!

I wore the black leggings and the Madonna jewelry in the 80's. As I recall one entire year I wore nothing but black clothing....I don't remember why possibly I was depressed.

Gosh! That brings back memories!

Are you kidding? It's like an absolute fact that we're going to wish that the mall was never invented once we hit 2040.

Yes, you will. I remember how "cutting edge" everyone thought we dressed in the 80s.

Fashions have to change,

That is the way the industry sells more clothes.
