If Satan wants your damned soul to be put in his hell house and tortured, would he be carrying out Jesus/God's punishment? Is Satan working for God? Is Lucifer God's prison ward or something? Or is Satan equally as powerful as God , having his own spiritual realm in Hell, just like God has heaven? Do Satan and God duke it out a lot in the spirit world? If they have these realms, Heaven and Hell, where are they? are they close to each other, is one up and one down like depicted in the Middle Ages? Are they both outside the universe? Hot fire is in the middle of the earth, is the middle of the earth Hell? is Satan underground in the core of the earth?

Hi

You asked a lot of questions. I will work on one.
Where are God and Satin?

I believe in Dimensions. Do you know anything about them?

First Dimension.
An object can only move forward or backward in a straight line.

Second Dimension
An object can move forward, backward right and left.

Third Dimension
An object can move forward, backward, right, left, up and down.
THIS IS WHERE WE ARE

Fourth Dimension
An object can move forward, backward, right, left, up, down and through other objects.

Fifth Dimension
Object does not move anywhere because it is already everywhere.

These Dimensions are all in the same space but can not see the other dimensions around them.
I think you get the idea so I wouldn't go any further with this.

In the Bible the 7th Heaven is mentioned which is where I think God is. As you can tell by the progression of the dimensions, He is in a place that our minds can not even comprehend and he can move through all the dimensions.

It is MY belief that Satin is in one dimension below God. He is very powerful but God will prevail when the time is right. We know from the Bible that Satin is allowed to come before God where he points out to God the mistakes we make. God allows Satin to do many things to us except he can take anyone's life.

Of course now the question is why does God allow Satin to do do bad things to us and the earth. Well, that is another story, so you will need to study the Bible to learn the answers.

Hope this helped a little

Bob

Satan is a fallen angel. He used to be an angel in heaven but he rebelled against God with some of the other angels because he wanted to have power and they were banished from heaven. Those other angels became Satans demons and do his will. So satan is kind of the god of evil, except that he is not as powerful as God and has to live within the limits God gave him. He has the permission to roam the earth and to try to get as many people as he can to reject God so that they will populate hell with him. At the end of the world when Jesus returns and takes all his followers to heaven, satan and his followers will be banished to eternal punishment in hell. Right now satans demons and gods angels are engaged in spiritual warfare and fighting each other for ppls' souls.

He is an accuser (Revelation 12:10), a tempter (Matthew 4:3; 1 Thessalonians 3:5), and a deceiver (Genesis 3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:3). His very name means adversary or “one who opposes.” Another name used for Satan, the devil, means “slanderer.”

Even though he was cast out of heaven, he still seeks to elevate his throne above God. He counterfeits all that God does, hoping to gain the worship of the world and foment opposition to God's kingdom. Satan is the ultimate source behind every false cult and world religion. Satan will do anything and everything in his power to oppose God, and those who follow God. However, Satan’s destiny is sealed – an eternity in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10).

Actually the middle of the earth is not fire, it's mixed metals in molten liquid form. And no, noone knows where heaven or hell is physically located. Basically, satan tempts or tricks people on earth into sinning so that they will never be able to enter heaven, just like he cannot. Because he can never go back to heaven he doesn't want anyone else to be able to go either, so he tries to ensnare as many people as he can into going to hell. Also, God lets satan continue to do this so that people have a conscious choice between heaven and hell. This makes it so that by living our lives on earth we are tested for whether or not we choose to be sin free and enter heaven with God, or to sin and enter hell with satan. That is the very complicated situation as I understand it.

Its a list of too many question. Nevertheless, let me put in few words. Satan's main purpose is to deviate everything that God made with a purpose. That includes the Man, Universe and everything in it. Satan has power but far inferior to God. He was an angel, a created being, before becoming Satan. Concerning the position of earth scholars differ in their opinions.
May God bless u Jane.

Satan's been trying to depopulate heaven since he got his own 'place'-hell. All satan is trying to do is what any other person would have done, that is, try to go down with others.

I think spirits will obviously be living in a spirit world. Just like fire can scald your physical hand, so will there be a kind of fire that can scald the soul/spirit, assuming after death our souls will continue to live.

Satan(hell somehow) is in the scheme of God as His opposite. Hence God giving us our freewill, so in the end(life after death) what we did with our life will determine where we will go, and in this case Heaven or Hell

Satan's purpose is to prove that man can rule himself apart from God. That was what the whole lie to Eve was about in the Garden of Eden. Satan became jealous of the rightful worship God was receiving from his human creation, so he schemed to get some of that for himself. Satan was once an obedient angel that loved God, but he turned into a liar (meaning of Satan) and a manslayer (meaning of Devil) out of selfishness. There is no such thing as a fiery place of torment where souls burn eternally. The Bible teaches that after you die, that's it. There is nothing that survives after death. Satan and Jesus Christ with his faithful angels already fought with Satan and his demons and ousted them from heaven. Revelation 12:7-9 says, "And war broke out in heaven: Mi´cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him."
So Satan and his demons are here on earth, trying to mislead people and distract them from serving God. That's why things got so horrible in the last century with two world wars and so much death and misery.

well its just like what was in the bible, Satan was an angel, but thought that he should be the true god rather than god himself, so then god banished him to earth.

To me when I think about it god had set up a true barrier between life and death for humans. Just like in genisis satan had tricked Eve in to eating fruit from the tree of knowledge. I think god didn't want the fruit to be eaten because then his perfect creation would be more puzzled about god and why they were created, which is something god didn't want.

Heaven and Hell I think are two parellel places, Of course the bible describes Heaven to be the sky comforting and Hell a uncomfortable pit of either way to hot or way to cold, but not where exactly you can find these places. I thinkt hat maybe Hell is somewhere deep within the earth, but that you can't physically enter it and that Heaven is maybe somehow in another universe but tied down to ours by god.

I think that Satan is weaker than god but tries to show his power by recruiting people in to hell.

But overall I think that Satan's purpose is to shjow power in numbers, when god can just show power. But Satans main purpose is that when god has the rapture he would have total control of earth.

In Jewish tradition Hell doesn't even exist.

I think the earliest writings of hell didn't show up until around 600 AD. Basically it's a form of control. Do you see any specific references to hell or a description of what hell is like in the bible? Good luck finding them because you won't. Every religion has a bad guy and the fallen angel Satan is most certainly in the bible but does he live a little place called hell. According to the bible it's rather unclear.

I Think Satan and god are kind of like brothers and when god created humans he realized he needed some where to put them so god and Satan had a coin toss over who would be in charge of the good ones and who would be in charge of the bad ones, and Satan lost. I think that Satan is probably a good person with a bad job and people give him a bad rap for it
