Today I watched the sunrise and soon I will sit outside and watch it set. I have never been able to see either without being filled with joy and inexplicable awe as to what the Creator has provided for us. He didn't have to make it so beautiful but He did. God loves beauty in all it's forms. You too are beautiful."God doesn't make junk."

The Lord Will Rescue His People

I know you all are going to think I'm nuts but that's okay --- I can live with that. For the past 2 years (approx.) I have seen out of the corner of my eye a white haze - like a smokey figure (but not human shape or anything) -- I look towards it and it disappears after I see it. My granddaughter was here this past weekend. Her mom said "look at her -- what is she looking at and smiling about" and her head was looking all over like she was watching something fly around that WE did not see (including me). I calmly said "we have a ghost" -- thank goodness she believed me. I have wanted to believe --- and pray it is my dad. It's given me comfort and never made me scared for some reason. Any ideas?

Quran commands that fasting is for those who are at home.

Quran commands that you do not fast if you are sick or on a journey and Muslims ignore the Laws of the Fast.

Fasting is a form of worship like prayer and cannot be done in the environment of distraction.

Muslims are commanded to make up their lost fasts outside of Ramadan but they choose to feast at the break of fast and avoid feeding the hungry even if they fast correctly or wish to seek exemption.

Muslims avoid the Good Deeds the Quran commands and are selfish when they have a good time for Ramadan.

Ramadan is to commemorate the Quran. The Fast is in gratitude for the Quran but Muslims turn their backs on Quran and treat Ramadan like Christians treat Lent.

Do the right thing Muslim and let others see the good in you.

I'm looking for a name for a fictional street. The name needs to have something to do with a friend who is also a lover (a name from a story about something like that, whatever). I'm not very good with mythology or languages, and this stuff's kind of hard to look up. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, I need to name a mountain pass. That name needs to signal bad, or perilous, or perilous but worthwhile. (As in, the crappy part you have to go through to get to the gold mine kind of thing).

Do guys really like pretty girls [i.e. girls that don't go a day without makeup plus have a little bit of natural beauty in them] or do they really like average girls like me [girls that don't really wear makeup but are naturally pretty]. I mean, the way guys flirt with average girls is kinda different than the way they flirt with pretty girls. The way they flirt with pretty girls has more of a sexual tension between it than more of an 'Oh I like you' type thing. It's more of a lusting thing, like 'I just wanna have sex with you and that's it' However with average girls, guys flirt with more of a funnier personality and it's just really stupid stuff like 'Oh you spelt that word wrong' when really he knows you didn't. I guess a guy kinda flirts like that with pretty girls too, but I wanna know is it better to be really pretty and have all the guys lusting after you and know that maybe no guy will ever really 'love' you but just for your looks, or to be average looking???

I have been advised by my friends not to get involved for a number of good reasons 1) They are always on shift so spend little time with family 2) They get called out on their rest days 3) If things don't go their way they know the law and make things happen (rape, murder..etc) 4) There is a brotherhood between them and that officers usually need to be part of the in-group for an officer to get on up the ranks (the advice here is that if the officer I date is not part of the in group for whatever reason there could potentially be a lot of bullying etc at work..which could end up taken out on me). 5) There is a culture of sexism via sexist jokes and banter within the force.

I am not in love with anyone but seen a lot of dating websites tailored to meet Army/RAF/Police officers. Please can people give me siome advice as to whether I should bother at all. I have tried to chat to some officers in a police forum and found it difficult as even online there is a clique.
