I have been advised by my friends not to get involved for a number of good reasons 1) They are always on shift so spend little time with family 2) They get called out on their rest days 3) If things don't go their way they know the law and make things happen (rape, murder..etc) 4) There is a brotherhood between them and that officers usually need to be part of the in-group for an officer to get on up the ranks (the advice here is that if the officer I date is not part of the in group for whatever reason there could potentially be a lot of bullying etc at work..which could end up taken out on me). 5) There is a culture of sexism via sexist jokes and banter within the force.

I am not in love with anyone but seen a lot of dating websites tailored to meet Army/RAF/Police officers. Please can people give me siome advice as to whether I should bother at all. I have tried to chat to some officers in a police forum and found it difficult as even online there is a clique.

What you have just said could be said about EVERY employment.. Men need to be with the boys to move up, woman are disrespected. Is this dude a nice guy? Does he treat you nice? Do you like him? If you answered yes to all of those then you should start dating him. If you work on a rotating roster then your always going to have time apart from family! Look at the job he does, it would be mentally challeging everyday!
I was with a police officer for 4 years and he treated me the same as anyone else.. Yes when we would go to police galas or whatever all the guys would talk about police stuff, but if they werent in the force Im sure they would all talk about something else such as cars etc.. They are men, they stay in groups.. its what they do! But just because he is a cop doesnt mean anything!

If what you're doing is no longer working then it's about time you take that to another stage with assistance from somebody who has been around your sneakers and learned the art of attracting and seducing girls, Joshua Pellicer and the answers you may find in his book Tao of Badass here https://tr.im/GK2mD .
Joshua Pellicer is really a dating qualified, who shows men all the techniques behind finding the lady they want to get and Tao of Badass is an on-line program that attempts to show men how to get any sexy and hot person they desire.
With this specific wonderful manual you will even get six bonuses, including the internet video Human Body Language Mastery, along side three free bonus books.
The different movies are also excellent, particularly the Human anatomy Language Mastery series. These contain some very nice data that a lot of men only don't know about. After you do know, but, you'll question how you got by without it.

Dont do it. O.K. they do a tough job and someones gotta do it but I just dont trust anyone that would choose this as their profession. Most of them revel in their power.I've heard their snide comments many a time. Most have a warped sense of humour and although their attitude is necessary for the job it is no good on a personal level.A lot have unresolved issues which you run the risk of being tangled up in.
Mine is probably an unfair opinion as I have had too many dealings with the boys in blue, but I will never forget 3 coppers kicking the sh1t out of me when I was 15 cos I looked older for my age.I was in the wrong plce/wrong time situation but they battered me because of my defiance and for refusing to be humiliated by them.It was a power trip for them. I dont envy them their job, I couldn't do it, but believe me they are a special breed and I want nothing more to do with their sort whether it be in a criminal sense or God forbid in a social sense.

Go for it hun! I'm dating unofficially 2 police officers and I haven't had a problem with either - if this copper feels something for you unless of course you actually do something illegal like smoke pot in his face he aint gonna bother, and I don't know where you get this clique thing from, I've found them to be absolutely charming, go for it!

What a load of old tosh.

Anyway - it's just a date.

Go on the date and judge the person for who he is. It might not work out anyway.

I don't date anyone working for my government. Period. The end.

They can find out too much and they can make things happen.
