Yes, and it never ceases to amaze me how easy it is to overlook the beauty God put all around us because we are to focused on the cares of this life.
It's so easy to be distracted by billboards and neon signs that we miss the beauty of the heavens.
It's good to look up more often.

It's been a long time since I've had the chance to watch a sunrise, but I love it. It is a sign of beauty.
Anybody with eyes to see can see what a wonderful world we live in. There is so much that is beautiful - even when we concentrate on the negatives. It's important that we do that whenever possible, for beauty and love is what makes the world worth living.
Some people look at a watch and immediately think of a watchmaker. I just look at a watch and say 'oh, so that's the time!' That doesn't mean I can't admire the watch, does it?

Don't believe in the creator, do enjoy the beauty. I watch the sunrise and set a lot. It's not just the sunset and sunrise though, today i was coming home from the zoo and the sun was peering through the clouds in little streams of light, it was the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen!

Yes I enjoy the beauty of a sunrise and sunset. I love being up in the mountains and just sitting and watching both surrounded by nature.

Sure, many things fill me with that sense: views from mountaintops, babies' fingernails, a field of wildflowers, photographs of astronomical formations, etc.
But I don't need to attribute this to any gods. It's natural for people to feel that way and it is a wonderful feeling. One can be in awe of nature without having to attribute it to any creator. I don't find that understanding these things more through science lessens the sense of wonder in the least, it often enhances it. It's possible to know what causes rain and still love the sensation of a sunshower on a warm summer day. I don't have to think that it's God choosing to wet me down in order to appreciate it.

Indeed I have, lady. I get the same joy as you seem to. I think probably why we enjoy it so much, is we know who is responsible for it and I think the thrill we get is actually a visit upon us by the Holy Spirit. I get the same feeling when I veiw all His works. A humming bird, butterfly, pretty flower, or a beautiful tree. How people can behold all these and still doubt God is beyond me. God bless you, little one. Your time will come, believe me. God has promised us.

I could not agree more. The neat thing is that no two people see the exact same sunset or sunrise. It is always from a different angle no matter how slight its still a little different. Everyone you see God created just for you.
Love and blessings

I know what you mean. I live on a mountain and everyday am filled with the unexplainable joy of knowing that my love and savior created all of this, and all of me. It is the most wonderful feeling knowing that God loves you, even when you don't love yourself.
You just made my day. :)
