It has been said that you are born alone (even if you're a twin-you only come out one at a time). Supposedly you don't die alone. Someone will take you over. I think it will be Jesus, and angel, or a deceased relative. This did give me the creeps.

The Bible says the dead have no thoughts . This is what is found at Ecclesiastes 9:5__"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing--" And at Ecclesiastes 9:10_"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."
So this means that the dead cannot feel pain or pleasure. This makes the teaching of "hellfire" a false doctrine of Christendom. The dead are not being tortured---in fact, Jesus said death is like being asleep. (John 11:1-14)

When you are dead, you can't think DUH. Did you mean what would your thought be if you were dying? In that case, I'd think something like - I hope I did all the good I could do and helped everyone I could, and that everyone remembers me for the good I have done, after I have passed.

They always say you go towards the light and your life passes before your eyes like a replay.

It is mentioned that at that very moment our life flashes before our eyes...I suppose this signifies favorable things that have occurred to us in our lifetime, will flash for that very long split second prior to succumbing...

It probably depends on how old you are and how you died, but I imagine something along the lines of "Man, I'm glad that's finally over." or, "Crap, that was a stupid way to go!"
