Do guys really like pretty girls [i.e. girls that don't go a day without makeup plus have a little bit of natural beauty in them] or do they really like average girls like me [girls that don't really wear makeup but are naturally pretty]. I mean, the way guys flirt with average girls is kinda different than the way they flirt with pretty girls. The way they flirt with pretty girls has more of a sexual tension between it than more of an 'Oh I like you' type thing. It's more of a lusting thing, like 'I just wanna have sex with you and that's it' However with average girls, guys flirt with more of a funnier personality and it's just really stupid stuff like 'Oh you spelt that word wrong' when really he knows you didn't. I guess a guy kinda flirts like that with pretty girls too, but I wanna know is it better to be really pretty and have all the guys lusting after you and know that maybe no guy will ever really 'love' you but just for your looks, or to be average looking???

As a guy, I would prefer the girl with natural beauty. After all, girls don't stay in their twenties forever. After the initial attraction wears out, there has to be something under all that make up.

It is the tendency for people to judge on the surface.
Fact is, some girls wear makeup and make themselves presentable because they are concern of their own image and there are so many different styles of beauty -- inner beauty included.
Getting guys attention may not be the primary reason. But of course, who would mind to get showered by gifts and freebies? It open doors for a girl in amazing ways.
No doubt love and sex are two different things -- then again people keep getting them confused and hence into trouble.
BTW, some girls are just as much into the sex thing as guys.

All guys have their own preferences but if I had a choice I would rather worry about being a pretty girl. The idea of guys falling over each other to be next to me is kinda cool.

It depends on the guy. Any guy that goes for that stuff is just a guy going on instict. But he always comes back to the one he loves, no matter what she looks like; no matter how many other girls he may think is pretty.. There's a mental level that is included as well.

hmmm, just speaking for me, i will know in about 1 minuet of talking to you where your coming from. If your "dressed to kill" with a tatoo around your ankle and a tongue ring and some sexy makeup on your eyes ive already labeled you for what i think your good for...if i talk to you at all im only thinking one thing. If your more reserved you can still dress nice and wear makeup and look really pretty but i will talk to you first then depending on how you respond with your speech and body language will determine if your going to be someone worth my time getting to know and joke around with....or someone im going to use my smooth talking BS on to try to get you into the sack. So, guys like any pretty girl but it depends on how you present yourself and what you say....bottom line is dressing like a hoe doesnt make a girl prettier than dressing in a buisness suit but it speaks volumes about the type of girl your dealing with and the approach that will be used by a guy..most guys anyway...some are pervs with every girl. And you also got to remember that guys like girls period...they are attractive to us unless they just dont take care of themselves....guys like girls looks thats how guys and girls meet...just be sure that how you dress and present yourself isnt saying your looking for action...unless thats what you want of course, but to make yourself pretty? Clean and feminine is all you have to be and a real man will see ur beauty.

Look at it this way. They treat the average girl with respect(mostly what girls ask for) And for your pretty girl, they are treated like hoes (pardon my french) You should be grateful to have a natural beauty flowing throu veins. A big pat for your back

Any guy who really is in LOVE with someone isn't hung up on looks. And vice versa. If a girl is truly in love - she isn't hung up on looks either.
That isn't to say we sometimes don't do things to make us look pretty to someone else, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And beauty is only skin deep. There is more to you than what a guy can see on the outside.

At some time you need to get the guy to look beyond the makeup in order to have a lasting relationship... so why waste all the money on it ...

Depends on the person. Some guys feel like they aren't doing well unless they have some hot chick on their arm. I call that 'overcompensating' and 'insecure'. They're trying to hide their flaws by having a hot thing to distract people.
