The below quote is in answer to one of my questions. I am non-religious. I believe in my Creator and Love talking about Him. I don't preach, I research and search, I love. I am not a novice, I've been on my path for 22 adult years. I am constantly learning, that is the reason for all the questions. Each answer I receive, brings a new rash of questions. God is Good.

Brad Pitt protrays death or the grim reaper. He tells Anthony Hopkins that it's "Time." Now, I know some of you are going to say, "I'm not afraid to die." Either you're a "true" Christian and you know without a shadow of a doubt, that you're most definitely going to heaven. Or you're an atheist and could care less because according to your theory, "There's no God, hence no heaven or hell." Or you're just not worried period. Honestly, I think "true" Christians wouldn't even flinch and the rest would be crying like a bunch of pig tailed little girls. Any thoughts?

I'll probably be lynched for asking this.. but rather than as a racial attack, I'm wondering about the reasoning and social upbringing of this. For example, speaking and laughing obscenely loud - either oblivious to the presence of anyone else or just not caring. Rowdy and uhh, enthusiastic or disrepectful - depending on who you ask. I only get this way when I'm completely drunk and still, I think I have some semblance of self-control.

To be honest, I just don't like Republicans. Sorry, the truth of the matter is I avoid them like the plague. I have my reasons based on my experience with them. No disrespect intended but I have an extra office to rent but I can't stomach sharing space with a Republican. Any problems with discrimination laws, newspaper or professional journal editorial policies?

Just curious. I'm not gay, and I'm not looking for a new religin to join, but I do believe that homosexuality is not a choice and isn't "wrong," or "sinfull." Love is love, and if you happen to love someone of the same sex as you, more power to you. Are there any religions out there that think the way I do?

This is all hypothetical, so act as if it could happen. What if an alien race who had been around for billions of years and had vastly superior technology and physical powers than us, came to Earth as a peaceful gesture to make contact with us and share it’s technology and knowledge of the universe. They were willing to help us better the quality of life for all man kind, but they had to leave because they found out that we still practiced religion, and before they left that they explained that all of the other races in the universe that they had made contact with that still practiced religion died out when they shared their technology and knowledge of the universe with them. They went on to say that religion in any and all forms created a circle of violence in every case that they had witnessed, in over a million species that they have seen. How would this make you feel, to know that the unwillingness to let go of the past, for the future may have doomed the human race?
