The below quote is in answer to one of my questions. I am non-religious. I believe in my Creator and Love talking about Him. I don't preach, I research and search, I love. I am not a novice, I've been on my path for 22 adult years. I am constantly learning, that is the reason for all the questions. Each answer I receive, brings a new rash of questions. God is Good.

."Cant you talk non-sense somewhere else? People are here to have fun, not to be read the gospel. "

If this be the case, why am I here?

Peace and Love

There are so many categories and so many different kinds of people here, I think you can get the experience you want without deliberately trying to ruin someone else's. Besides, for you, perhaps talking about God *is* fun. You wouldn't be alone in that. I'm sorry that person was a jerk to you.

I agree with the first person, talking about God is fun, and we all learn from each other. I don't know why you're here, but on behalf of all the non-"jerks" out there, we're glad you are. Some people are just here cause they find some sort of humor in bashing peoples beliefs, or maybe they're secretly hurting on the inside and searching for someone willing to reach out and touch their heart instead of trying to shove religion down their throats and abandoning them once they do.

I'm not sure what I am supposed to find to be "true"

Is it what you say about yourself in the first paragraph? If so, you have given me no reason to doubt you, so I will accept that your description of yourself is accurate.

Is it what this other person has said, as contained in your second paragraph?

I would say that his question is neither true or false. He is a) asking you to take your discussion elsewhere and b) claiming that what you are discussing (which I suppose are, based on his second statment, the Gospels) is "non-sense".

Are you asking me if the Gospels are true? There are those who believe that they are true, and so I respect that they are true for them. There are those who believe they are not true, as is the apparent case here ("non-sense", which shouldn't be hyphenated), and I respect that they are not true for them. (Guess that makes me "wishy-washy".)

I would have to say that his claim (second sentence) is not true; the category is "Religion and Spirituality" so I would find sharing a religious view to be acceptable. Of course, Yahoo! has their own guidelines, but I don't see how you would have violated them.

As for your closing question, it's not a True/False question, regardless of the supposition of whether what comes before is true or false.

As for your closing - if this is a true expression on your part, then I return the same to you.

Seems like you're pleasing more than annoying them. So it's safe to say, hang in there, stay in here, and keep asking your questions. Thats what this site is all about anyway. No one said they couldn't be based on spirituality. And there's no rules that anyone has to read or answer your questions, either......Amen

I can't agree with the quote due to the grammatical confusion.

Anyway, if someone doesn't want to talk about religion, why exactly should they be forced to talk about religion? Maybe there's a perfectly good reason! But it's not self-evident.

Some people are here to play a game and then there are us who are honestly interested in the way others answer. Don't let it bother you... I don't let anything on here bother me. I'm just glad when I can correspond with good people.

I am not sure I understand what you are asking. Do I find the quote to be true? Nope. Just angry and rude.

Don't let all those jerks out there discourage you. There are enough sincere people out there to make this worthwhile. Keep on believing!
