There is a verse in the book of Revelation which says we will get new names engraved on white stones.

We may not get a new name, but we will learn Jesus' new name, and He will indelibly mark us with it:
Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Rev 3:12 He that shall overcome, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God: and he shall go out no more. And I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and MY NEW NAME.
We won't be angels, either.
Due to the fact that we will become perfect in heaven, and eventually, after judgment day, have both a glorified body and an immortal soul, we'll actually be higher than the angels, and we'll even have the responsibility of judging all the fallen angels.
1Co 6:3 Know you not that we shall judge angels? How much more things of this world?
God Bless you!

Revelation 2:17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to him some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except he who receives it." '
Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said to them, "You err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection neither do they marry, nor are they given in marriage, but they are like angels of God in heaven.

I don't think we'll be angels. That isn't what the Bible says. Angels were created separately and apart from us and for specific reasons. I am no Bible scholar, but I remember from Sunday School that we will be "changed" from our old flesh to something new. I don't believe it will be anything like we are now because people who are ill, handicapped or otherwise malformed will be made whole.
Sally has a GREAT answer!
This is a very good question. Makes me want to go look it up in my Bible! Thanks for asking it.

Angels aren't dead people, check up on your dogma. Yeesh.
Anyway, the only reason you'd have a different name in heaven is if there was some kind of reincarnation situation, where your soul was not the same thing as your consciousness.

Hm.. I've never heard that. If you read it in the bible, than I suppose so. However, I would suspect there is little use for names in heaven. (I'm not Christians and I can still answer this question in a decent, and knowledgeable way.)

Why do I have to be a Christian to answer this...there are many religions out there that believe in that same exact thing. Are you predjudice towards other religions? Maybe you should ask all believers.

In Heaven, we will have heavenly bodies, but our spirits will remain the same. I'm not sure we'll need names. God knows us as we are.

Yes
I don't know if you will understand this but
The name you receive is the one you were given in the beginning.
We will be of men, a little below the angles.
