There is no modern denomination that exhibits the nature of the original christian church.
If there is, they are quietly doing the work of the father without any need or desire for other people to know. It doesn't surprise me that I don't know about them. It actually seems right that I don't.
You can read the words of Christ and see that nothing we have today is like what he described.
When Jesus comes back for his bride, I am certain that fewer people will be invited to the wedding than are expecting an invitation. There will be people sitting around in wedding dresses waiting for a long time.
I know if asked, jesus will say... "Didn't you read anything I said?" then... "Why did you pay so much attention to the things Paul said and so little to the things I said?"

United Pentecostal Church or any other church that preaches the same doctrine (there are others).
They preach the same message as the Apostles taught as found starting in the book of Acts.
When the first sermon was preached by Peter in Acts 2, condemnation hit the hearts of those that heard the message and they asked him what they should do. The answer:
Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The following books give instruction to the church for how to live a holy life, and how the church is to operate.
It also explains the correct operation for the gifts of the Spirit, and gives prophesy for the end of this age.

You are correct, there are a lot of divisions in Christianity today. The only way to know which is correct is to go back to the Bible. Was there a "plan of salvation" that all the Apostles agreed with? In Luke 24:49 Jesus told the Disciples to, "tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued w/power from on high." In Acts 1:12 it says that they returned to Jerusalem. Acts 2:14 says, "But Peter, standing up w/the eleven, lifted up his voice and said..." This means that all the Apostles were there. No one ever argued w/what Peter said, when he told them to, "Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Paul (who was not a Christian yet, not until chapter 9) agreed w/Peter because Acts 19 says that he found certain disciples... verse 5 says, "when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Verse 6 says that, "When Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake w/tongues, and propheisied."
We can read over and over again in Scriptue where they were baptized in the name of Jesus and spake w/tongues when they were filled w/the Holy Ghost.
Chapter 2, 8, 10, 19 of Acts tell of the original Christians. Really, the entire book of Acts tells of the first Church. If we want to be "correct" or real Christains, we need to go back and do what they did.

The Catholic faith is the original and most complete faith on the face of the earth. We have the Bible. We have God the Father. We have Jesus Christ. We have the Holy Spirit. We have valid sacraments that truly dispense grace. We have the Mass and Holy Communion. We have the sacred traditions of the apostles. We have Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the communion of all the saints. We have an earthly leader, the pope, who wields the God given authority to settle disagreements between various members of the worlwide church. We have our own country, the Vatican. We have a complete body of both dedicated religious scholarship and divine revelation that goes back 2,000 years, all the way back to Jesus Christ himself, and then spans the old testament, all the way back to creation. We also have the great commission, and the irrevocable promises of Christ.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Mat 28:19 Going therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.
None of this happened by chance.
We also have more than our share of sinners. But that's why Jesus died, and why he established his universal church ... to aid in the conversion of sinners, until the end of time.
Who would expect to go into a hospital and find only healthy people?
I thank you for this opportunity and I wish you well.

To have FAITH in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Not just belief, but FAITH. Without faith, all else is done in vain..... The whole Bible is a Him book. The book about Him. That is the most important teaching or doctrine I can think of that anyone can pass on to another person. All the rest is just details. GREAT details, but just details.

The problem with that is - most "christians" don't really know what it was that Jesus taught, or even who He was. For example, do you know that Jesus taught the concept of eye for an eye? Jesus said, if we judge, then we will also be judged. Jesus also said, if we forgive, then we will also be forgiven. Jesus also said, if we deny Him before men, then He will deny us before His Father in Heaven. All these things Jesus said can be restated in this way: what we do, will also be done to us. That's eye for an eye!

Love others like you love yourself. That is almost universal wisdom. For instance, the influential philosopher Zhang Zai of the North Song Dynasty has said: "Love others like you love yourself, and then it is the fulfillment of Ren." Now, what is the Ren?
