The Word of God, the Holy Bible (not Christians) condemns sexual sins including Homosexuality.
In the Bible when Jesus forgave sin, He told that person to
"go and SIN NO MORE".
So any sexual sin that is still practiced can not be forgiven because it is not yet repented of. Once truly repented of that person will stop doing that sin as a habit. If they slip up and fall back into it for a short time then they should repent again and turn away from that sin once again.
By the way, I am a Conservative Christian and I do not hate homosexuals but I do hate the way sin destroys them and the way any and all sin destroys any other sinner.
As a matter of fact in the past I have noticed non-Christiains said disgusting degrading things to this one homosexual.
But when he and I worked together, we had a polite conversation about our diffrences including the fact that the Bible says that lifestye is sin.
Another time myself and a homosexual co-worker had many polite discussions about our differences as we worked including the sin issue of it.
In fact, often times he started the topic of discussing his homosexuality with me.
So I think it is hateful for some to wrongly stereotype all conservative Bible believing Christians as hateful when most of us are not that way.

Here's my thinking. Christ died to forgive our sins but requires us to repent (definition: Turn Away) from our sin in order to receive the gift of forgiveness.
Now, with that said - keep in mind the Bible clearly states that no one other than God has the right to place judgment. I am a Christian but I would not presume to tell someone what is acceptable in the eyes of God. Listen to your heart and you will know the truth.
"Holier than thou nuts" are no different in the Christian religion than from any other extremist religious beliefs...in my experience, many super extreme religious believers have lost focus of the true message of Christ, which is Love.
If you are ever interested in doing so I would recommend you read just the red letters in the Bible (this is the words of Jesus). He speaks only of loving one another.
God Bless

1.) Christians aren't asked to mind their own business. They're asked to live their lives for other people. That means they're going to get tangled up in other peoples' lives.
2.) Repentance is more than being sorry for, but also having the desire to never do it again.
3.) I do have a problem with people who condemn homosexuals with phrases like 'Turn or Burn'. If anything that makes a homosexual more rebellious.
4.) The Bible states that homosexuality is a pretty 'major' sin and is amoral.
5.) A homosexual does have to give their life to Christ in order to recieve forgiveness. In theory, if they're honest about it, their life would head toward a more moral direction.

Humans are still accountable for their own actions, such as any sins that they may commit. Jesus Christ created a new covenent when He died, rose again, and offered salvation to all. When you're Christian, you are supposed to try very hard to lead a life as free from sin as possible, and to repent of any sins that you may commit along the way. Some Christians feel that those who are homosexual are sinning basically 24/7, and you can't have a close relationship with God when you constantly have something between you and Him (i.e., the sin). It's the same with those who have a swearing problem, like I have. I've been trying so hard for YEARS to stop swearing, and I truly am sorry when I do (it happens when my kids make me super mad, unfortunately). I hate that I swear sometimes; I always sincerely apologize to God. You have to repent to be close to him. I guess a homosexual person could repent everyday, but are they truly regretful for being gay? I couldn't tell you. I can't presume to have any idea what it must be like to be homosexual and also wish to be Christian. It must be so difficult. Many Christians are very closed-minded and judgemental; I am not one of them. Christ wasn't like that, so I shouldn't be that way either. I have to add something (again): ever since I started asking God to help me every single day with my swearing problem (basically I ask Him to be with me throughout the entire day and help me with self-control over my mouth, which includes speaking in mean way), it has improved DRASTICALLY. For such a long time I never asked Him for help, because I figured it was my problem, and I should fix it myself. But that never worked. This is working! :o) I don't have any idea if a gay person could apply the same thing, or if they would really even want to, but that is what worked for me.

The bible gives standards to live by for everyone to follow. These standards are not just for homosexuals. The scriptures tell us at 1 corinthians 6:9 " Do you not know that unrightous persons will not inherit Gods kingdom? Do not be misled. Niether fornicators, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards will inherit gods kingdom. And yet that is what some of you once were.Yes many of us conducted ourselves with the desires of the flesh, doing the things willed by the flesh. If we do not curb those wrong tendencies, we may in time become accustomed to such a way of life. It may seem normal to because others around us are doing similiar things. But the Bible identifies what is right and wrong from Gods viewpoint, In view of how he made man and his purpose for mankind. Continuing a sinful course will not only hinder a relationship with him but we also will reap what we sow. Galatians 6:7,8 says" God is not to be mocked". So even though Jesus died for our sins this sacrafice wasnt so that people could continue a sinful course and still reap benefits from that sacrafice. Heb 5:9 says" After he Jesus Christ had been made perfect he became responsible for everlating salvation to all those obeying him." Notice the key word is obey. This isnt just directed at you lifestyle but everyones.

First of all, I'm not a religious fanatic, I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Second of all, people shouldn't be condemning anybody. God loves everyone, he just hates our sin. God says to not judge other people, because they are judged already. And last of all, Jesus died on the cross to make forgiveness and repentance available to us. He didn't just die on the cross and everyone is forever forgiven. The bible says to take off the old man and put on the new man, which means to give up your old ways and ask God to forgive you for your sins. You have to repent for your sins almost everyday. Everyone sins. Jesus just made it available for us to be forgiven.

As Christains we love them as a person but do not like the sin they commit. God even says that he hates sin and that homosexuality is an abomination. Now if a homosexual was to repent of the sin God says they are commiting then he will forgive them.

First of no Christian should (or can) Condemn anyone for anything. That is Gods' job. And you are correct God can forgive any sin (he forgave mine and it was worse than Homosexuality) However the Sinner needs to admit that what they are doing is a sin and ask for forgiveness.

How can someone "repent" for a so-called 'sin' if God's plan was to MAKE them this way?
Neither God nor Jesus had a hand in writing the bible. Men wrote it, and men changed the OT to the NT in order to 'fit' it into their social timeframe. If it was a sin to eat shellfish in the OT, why was it changed in the NT? If it was a sin to approach the altar of God without 20/20 vision in the OT, why was it changed in the NT? Why was it all of a sudden OK to do these things when it clearly says in the OT that it is sinful? Because man changed it, and man at that time had a problem with homosexuality, so man wrote what they wanted to write about it in the NT simply to oppress a small group of people who 'do things' that they didn't like. God had NO hand in this writing at all. It was man's free will.
These Christian folk....if they really think being gay is a choice, then what they are saying is that they, themselves, also have the 'urge' in them to be gay.... they just don't act on it.
Come on!
Straight people just don't have the gay urge now, do they?
No more than gays have the urge to be straight.
It's just ridiculous and childish.
"You're going to hell and I'm not....ha ha ha, neener, neener, neener".
Ask any amount of the millions of gay people on the planet why they 'chose' to be gay.....why they 'chose' to live a life full of shame, guilt, oppression and judgement. The answers will all be the same.
It's just the way they are.
Just like straight people are "just the way they are".
People love to point fingers. They love it when they can feel better than other people. Put a bible in front of them and suddenly they have the 'earned right' to judge others based on what they 'think' the bible says.....or what someone else told them it means.
Some of them take it a step further and believe they've earned the right to put their noses in other people's bedrooms.
This crap about "Love the sinner, Hate the sin" is a bunch of BS.
These people have no idea how to love because the so-called 'sin' has blinded them. The 'sin' is a lie in itself, and the love they say they have for the sinner is a lie. It's all a game to make them feel superior. That, in itself, is a lie because in God's eyes they are not superior to anyone.
It all comes down to minding their own business. But that's too difficult to do. If they minded their own business, they'd have to look at themselves. God forgid they do that and be forced to see their own shortcomings! It's so much easier to look at others, make judgements, point fingers, condemn and hate....all in the name of Jesus, giving the false impression that they are doing God's work....that it's OK to spread hate as long as it's in Jesus' name. ...that they are superior. It's a childish mind-game they play with themselves in order to feel good about themselves.
Homosexuals do not need to be forgiven.
They've done nothing wrong in being themselves.
If they were wrong, then God apparently DOES make mistakes.
And if God makes mistakes, the bible must be full of them.

God can not only forgive homosexuals, but he can help them have victory over their sexual sins just like he can help heterosexuals have victory over their sexual sins. One must repent to have their sins forgiven. Repent means to turn away from. The Bible says in Romans 6:1-2 that we are not to continue in sin intentionally expecting God to forgive us. That being said, Christians should not show anything but love and honor to homosexuals. We are commanded to love and honor EVERYONE
