I heard Mormons have high morales. Why is this? What are some characteristics of this belief?

well they do..... they are all about respecting your self and not doing anything that will embarras others. They have a lot of standards..... they have morales about movies, dress, dating and plenty of others.

The individual mortals who have been taken in by the mormon cult are no different that the rest of the population in have some who are good and some who are bad... I Know mormons who are high in the orginization who are backstabing money grubbing worthless human beings outside of their cult crowd...but then I know some who claim christian faith who are just the same...

it is unfortunate that so many of the truly good people are decieved away from The Truth of God's offer to all.by this decepion of satan.

We believe in having higher standards to set us apart from the world, many of which change every year. In the early 1900's there was almost no one living together that weren't married. Now it's a common thing.

I believe in holding my standards high so that Satan and the world won't be able to hurt me with tempations, that would keep me from returning to my Father in Heaven.

Just following the commandments....

we also have the Doctrine and Covenants... which contains "the word of wisdom" ... which tells us not to drink alcohol, smoke, drink coffee or tea... etc..

we encourage our people to follow the commandments... to abstain from sex until married... etc... same as other Christian religions...

We try to offer our children many opportunities for healthy and wholesome activities... as an alternative to what most other people provide for their children...

and we also try to teach them modesty in manner and dress.

we try hard to help each other... constantly... all through the week... every day... and at night if needed... if I need help with a problem.. I ask for help... in prayer and from members of the Church...

we are not alone in our trials... there ARE people that will help us.

The family is ordain of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to God's eternal plan.

Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity.

Fathers and Mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners.


These just some of the teachings we hold true, maybe we are not perfect in them , but it is what we strive to achieve.
