Ok, so God created Adan, then Eve... they had two childs, one killed the other, so Cain leaves and then he comes married and all, from where did all these people come? Did God created more people, did Cain married Eve and had kids? I think that is kind of confusing. Dont you?

I was brought up as Christian, but now I can't stand going to church. I feel uncomfortable in the place and can't wait to get out. It holds no meaning for me- it is empty and the sermons are empty to me. I just can't help it, but I can't believe in it no matter how much I try.
Another thing, thre is this trend among the people I know to become a born-again evangelical christian, they all go to this new modern church and have formed a little 'clique'. I feel very uncomfortable in their company now like I don't belong and I feel shunned by them. Is it possible these people join this church just to find a place to fit in? Many of the so-called Christians don't behave in a very Christian way. I have found people who show off being christian to be prejudiced and excluding. I know there are nice Christians out there of course, but why is it I feel like this?
Don't bother answering if you are going to call me ye daughter of sin or give me pity or threaten me with hell. I need good answers.

Let's take a look at this fine example of Christian humor:

Now, let's all laugh politely, because that's the thing we non-believers do, we always stay polite.

And let's remember this moment as proof to ourselves as of why people are still so gullible to still believe in a God.

I think in 10 years i will still remember where i was when i finally realized that it's useless to even try to reason with those people.

If we were using 2000 year old technology today, wouldn't it be the Dark Ages all over again? So why are we using 2000 year old text for our spirtual lives?

I mean, my parents told me not to eat ice cream because it spoiled my dinner and when I did they sent me to bed without supper. That's fitting. But, to be exiled from your home and forced to wander because some talking snake talked you into biting into an apple. That's a little rough.

He was sent to save us from our own sins as well as the sins of the world. Jesus was also sent here to teach us humility when things are going good and faith to carry through when things are going bad.

What do you believe?

...for dragging them into turmoil, and hindering there progress as a society? I read an article in the New York Post that was written by a Syrian (I believe) man, who was disgusted with Hezbolla, Al-Qaeda, and the rest. He claimed that the majority of his breathren felt this way. If this is true, there is hope for this world yet.

Seems that it once promised to create a worldwide community, connecting people on the principles of goodwill, sharing of information, and understanding. But on this service (and others) it seems to boil down to hucksters pawning crap ("CheaP VIagara/CIAli$ tablets, clickhere!!"), sex-starved, illiterates ("I-M horny, R-U-2?"), or advertisers. Is there still something meaningful to salvage from this online universe? Or is this as good as it gets? :p

It is about some lost souls from the Celestials trying to get back home. and this Book or Bible New Testament, is the way to do it.
If you are one of those Souls, and realize the Body is only a temple of those souls.
And you want to find away to return to your Celestial ( Heavenly) Father , then this is what the Book is about. it is not religion or Mystical, It is Truth.

My oldest daughter's dad signed his rights over because he didn't want the responsibility of being a parent. My husband has adopted her and she has a good life and he is free of all parental obligations which is exactly what he wanted. When he still was her legal father he made no attempt to be a part of her life, yet now he does things to try to get attention or look like the victim and people fall for it- I know this shouldn't bother me like it does, but I just have to wonder why people sympathize with people like this and try to make my husband and I the villains because the "poor guy can't see his kid" ?? That's exactly what he wanted.

My mum tried to explain this to me, but I wasn't satisfied with her answer. She said that God is like a parent to us - he knows the way he would like us to live, and gives us general guidelines for how to live, but ultimately, it's our decision. Fine. But then, why is half the world starving? I mean, think about it. There's enough food for us all. If you had two children and enough food for them both, but one tried to eat it all, you would never let them get away with it. Therefore, if God does take the role my mum says he does, he would surely lay down the law a little more firmly.

Is there a second reality we dismiss as rem or sleep state? Where does the essence of a person go when they are comatised? There must be more to it than just dreaming/resting. I am aware of the biological shutdown body process, I don't mean that, and I have read about astral travel I don't mean that either. Why the mental not physical need for sleep?

[Now the wall of the city had 12 foundations, and on them were the names of the 12 Apostles of the Lamb.] Rev.21:14 NKJV.

Q: Was Judas forgiven, and his name added to the 12 in thin new city. Or, was that place given to the Apostle Paul. Are there any Bible texts that can answer this question either implicitly or explicitly?

Please, theology teachers or students only!
