I know that lots of muslims, specially women who are embracing peaceful and very secular faiths such as Sufism and Bahism, because they are disgusted with Islam's very rigid, literal and paranoid ideology.
could Sufism and Bahaism become the new faith of muslims? I feel that it will happen and islam will die out . Am I right?

I'm sure during Hilter's reign people the world over did not think he was an insane murderous monster either. That's why millions of Germans followed him and those people are now ashamed of it. Today they publically distance themselves from his propaganda. I see the Bush era in the same way.

Many people think CCTV cameras are there for our own good, and we should feel secure under their constant watch? Do you have the same opinion?

i consider myself buddhist and am really interested in the asceticism of monks and i keep thinking to myself if there are any women monks. now i have a limited understanding in the hardcore specifics of it and id like to understand what traditional roles women play in buddhism. i hear women cannot become recognized as buddhas, and im not sure if that is true. so in the end i guess it goes back to the question: what roles do women usually play in buddhism? are there limitations for women in orthodox buddhism and such? and if so what are they?

Funny, a charity is aiming to raise £1m for a new life-saving hospital machinery so to help launch they ask David Beckham or Alan Sugar or Bill Gates or someone. The Ironic thing is the public then go and do sponsored events such as cycling, marathons etc until they hit the target. BUT why couldnt the patron just turn round and say 'hey, you know what, i have lots of dosh already so here you go! Job sorted!" Simple but then why is this isnt the case? Why is it the ones without the 'lots of dosh who do most of / if not all of the work?

The eastern tsunami was a classic example! A huge football game was arranged and the proceeds were sent in aid. (more publicity for the players??) but if each if the players present sent 1week or 2week wages then there wouldnt have needed for a charity match AND it woudlnt have been excusively the job of the ones 'without lots of dosh' of raising the aid by paying for such tickets

I know there are lots of charitable celebs but do you see my point?
