I mean, my parents told me not to eat ice cream because it spoiled my dinner and when I did they sent me to bed without supper. That's fitting. But, to be exiled from your home and forced to wander because some talking snake talked you into biting into an apple. That's a little rough.

The ice cream story was from my younger years as analogy.

And how hard would it NOT be to listen to a talking snake. I mean, a talking snake! Hell, I'd probably do what it was telling me to do.

God did not punish them. they were products of their own Sin, God warned Adam, and Adam accepted the Consequences.

No. Adam and Eve were perfect to the highest degree. That is something that we will never experience in this lifetime. They lived for hundreds of years, so they knew about anything and everything in the earth and heaven because they had a DIRECT relationship with God. They knew His laws. They were given free will. They were not tempted, like you was with the ice cream. They willingly chose to disobey Him. Therefore, the punishment was just.

The Adam and Eve apple was just an excuse. In truth, human nature is meant to be challenged and a perfect garden of eden place was not challenging enough. We are meant to have more out of life than a pointless existence in a garden full of nothing to do. The apple, in my opinion, was only an excuse to get us to the world we live in now. So, it is not a punishment, for me at least, here in this world there is great evil but also great joy.

God did not punish Adam and Eve for "eating the apple". What came on them was the consequence of their disobedience. Like the little kid who after being told not to climb on the roof, decides to do a Superman imitation off the highest peak. Consequences would follow his action.

Within the garden were other trees, including one called the Tree of Life, According to the Bible, eating of that tree would cause a person to live forever. God, knowing that if Adam and Eve were to eat of the tree they would live in a state of sin forever, removed them from the garden to prevent them from eating it. That way he would be able to provide a remedy for their fallen state (which he did in Jesus) and bring them to eternal life redeemed forever instead of lost forever.

So it was a good thing for them to be "exiled" as you put it.

No. I really don't know about the snake part of the story. The story I know is that Satan decieved them to eat the forbidden fruit. There was nothing wrong with eating that fruit except that it was very simple test of God. Adam failed a simple test.

yes

Its like putting a loaded gun (forbidden fruit) and a known child molester (Satan) in a room with a five year old. Locking the door (angels at the gateway) and then blaming the child for getting sodomized and letting off a round or two.

What loving parent would do that to their child.

good question.

when you have figured that one out, then ask yourself was it fair to all of Adam and Eve's decendents (all of mankind) to have to pay for their mistake?

I mean I'd really have liked the opportunity to run around Eden naked without a care or need in the world!

It's a ll a part of "god's plan." now if someone could tell me what the hell it is then we'd be set. come on, everyone claims to know what gods wants and means, so you should be able to tell us his secret plan right? otherwise you're liars and full of your own sh*it
