There are several girls that dress VERY provocative at Church. It makes it hard to focus on the sermon when they show SO MUCH SKIN. Yesterday, I felt like I was at the beach, they where dressed so skimpy. Should I say something?

And they ask for me, do i say "this is she" or "this is her"? it sounds to me that the correct thing to say is the 2nd one but i've heard many Americans use the first option. Thanks.

Chrisians, how can you justify your actions against other religions? Doesn't the Bible tell you not to judge others and to live with love in your heart? I asked this earlier and only a few good Christians answered. Where are those who cuss us and look down on us? You all have no trouble speaking up and screaming your point of view to us. Where are you now when youre being asked to account for what you've said and done? How do you justify yourself? Please don't take this opportunity to preach to me.

In the world of US Christianity you see the strongest growth among fundamentalist sects. Of course the catholic church still dominates in both number and growth, but the next in line are the Southern Baptist convention and Pentacostal sects. The mainstream protestant churches that exploded during the first and second great awakenings are now either losing members or just barely holding their own. In fact, the Southern Baptist convention with 16 million members is larger than the membership of the large mainstream protistant churches combined. I'm not interested in which church people think is better, or the best version of christianity. What I'm interested in is why on one hand would people want more choices in their secular lives (they want a choice of job, places to live, educational opportunity, consumer products, etc), but want a religeon that has very strict rules to live by?

If Jesus Christ never existed, then go ahead and tell me the date. Todays date. Which would be July 10, 2006 A.D. right? (A.D. meaning Anno Domini meaning "in the year of our Lord" and they have been counting using A.D. since Christ's birth) So, if Christ never existed as you say, why have they been using B.C. (Before Christ) and A.D. (Anno Domini) for 2000 years now?

They beleive in something that can not be proven with a scientific fact yet they have no trouble using science (explosives, metalergy, ect) to force thier religious views on others. Does any one find that a bit hippocritic?

I just recently got out of a relationship that lasted two years. (Ended july 3rd) We were engaed since Dec 05 and now are splitting up. We live together and she has not even moved out as of yet. - she will be by the end of the month. We have been more like friends for a long time, and we were hardly ever intimate at all. Like not even in the last six months. We are still going to be friends though. Personally, I did my crying; drove home to see my mother and family etc. I am not distraught at all anymore, although it still hurts slightly I suppose.
I posted a profile on a web board and a nice young lady responded to me. I added her to my favorites and she could see it, so she emailed me. My question is, how long should a person wait to date again? Aren't these things rather difficult to explain? I have not told her as of yet, but I feel to hide it from her would be wrong. I feel the need to tell her, but I don't want to ruin it with the truth. Any thoughts?

I don't understand. It's simple. It takes only a few minutes (technically, a few seconds), So, why not wash your hands?

Of course, everyone gets to leave on their floor.

If you are a man, do you still wait for the women to exit first? If you are a woman, do you expect to exit first? Or do you go by the "closest to the door" rule?

Do the same rules apply for entering the elevator as well?

I tend to be non-gender-specific but I wonder if any women get offended. Your thoughts?
