Eat at French Restaurants and order in French; only speak French to the waiter. Visit Montreal where they speak French and English.

Use French tapes and speak with them. Translate everything you can into French. Read, write and watch everything you can in French. Speak often, even if no one is around. Rent French language song tapes, to get used to hearing the words, translate as you go. Good luck!

Rent some foreign language films or find a group of Frenchies to hang out with. Perhaps if you called a local school or college the French professors could point you in the direction of French-speaking groups or hang-outs!

Choose the French language track on your DVDs. Many movies have it, and it'll help you hear the correct pronunciation of things, while entertaining yourself with movies you already like.

Try french news site or internet talk radio in french. You will hear a variety of accents, just be patient - the annoucers usually speak the clearest.

See if you can find someone on yahoo messenger and speak to them over a microphone or if you are near a large college, see if you can find a French exchange student to speak with.

I would get a short wave radio and tune it to a french speaking station...

Then, when you hear it, make like your talking back to the announcers, or copy them when they speak...

I wish you well..

Jesse
