I'm helping my granny make invitaions for her 60th high school reunion. We'll be typing them on the computer and printing them onto gold stationary. What should we write? It should sound somewhere between simple and formal.

I've been with him for a year and a half, and we've only held hands twice, both at amusement parks. Is this odd?

It seems like we don't like exceptional people very much. Even Einstein is always made fun of for being bad at math and forgetting to wear socks.

Are you worried atheists will tease you with "I told you so." Tell you what, put down your Bibles now, and I promise I won't rub it in.

As you may already know, I've been asking several questions to see how mich about GOD, the Bible, and the religions that followed them the average person really understood. Twenty-Five questions later, I am convinced that Humanity, over the centuries, has drifted away from the true meaning behind the Bible and situated itself rather precariously, just outside of the protected area. The teachings of Christianity have become more of a control device (a rather petty one, no less) than a path to salvation. I find it sad that such a terrible fate could befall such a noble attempt to better Humanity.

Well, you know how I feel about the matter. How do you feel? Do you believe that the average person (be they Christian, Jew, Atheist, Wiccan, Agnostic, Anarchist, or person with no opinion) truly understands GOD and his Bible? Do you think the average person truly understands these things that they give their soul to or Damn relentlessly? Don't be bashful. This might be the last question...

I have been seeing what a person i know is doing even though they don't live anywhere near me. i see them in my imagination, and then find out what they were doing later through 3rd party. she's not in danger, just sad. i don't know her well, and we aren't really in touch. has this happened to you? is there some message is this? something i should learn? it makes me feel like something urgent is going on, especially the first time. but every time, there is really nothing for me to do. it makes me feel restless.

p.s. i am reposting this, thanks very much to all my previous answers. it was late at night and maybe i will catch some day folks this time!

Honest question. Your are looked upon as primitive-minded people in much the same way as you look upon voodoo practioners.

Just silly, animal sacrifices, ritual cannibalism, fantasy world of demons and gods.
Get real, get into the 21st century. Myths are for entertainment. You may as well ask us believe in Tinkerbell.

there is a saying that nothing is free. everything on this planet costs you. they even sell water. but you can go on the internet and get free porn. movies, pics, stories and downloads. this is the only thing I know that doesnt cost you something. (or maybe not) it does cause a person to be grounded to their physical self instead of their spiritual sides of themselves. and maybe that is payement.

This is a question particularly for Christians who support the Bush administration and/or the War on Terror. And I'm not asking this facetiously... I'm serious. This seems like a HUGE contradiction and I honestly don't understand it. The Bush administration and their right-wing cronies claim to be Christians, and yet they've chosen to invade countries, kill terrorists and other "bad guys," and bomb places back to the stone age. They've argued for the necessity of torture, claimed that certain numbers of Iraqi civilian casualties are "acceptable," and assassinated opposition leaders.

How many bombs do you think Jesus would have dropped in retaliation if he had been President on 9/11? Would Jesus "waterboard" terror suspects?
