In public restrooms, do you use your foot to push the handle down so you can flush the toilet?

yea, i actually do that. that handle is one of the places people touch *before* they have washed their hands...and we all know: some people never wash after the restroom because it's not macho...or 'cool' or whatever cultural reason.

If I have to, but never have before. I hardly use public restrooms. Sometimes if I can hold it I will. A toilet that's not in my house is not my first option, so I'd hold for as long as could. I've only used a public restroom more than 10 times in my life

I use toilet paper to flush the handle. Then wash my hands of course.

Yes!!! If it's an industrial one that you can use your foot then yeah use it. But if it's a push handle like in your house then I use my thumb on the hand I don't write with but I wash my hands real good after that!!!

ALL the time...i will never touch a handle...do u know how many hands touch that handle a day? and also after i'm done washing my hands, and drying them and all that, i use a paper towel to open the door as i'm leaving the restroom. or i use my shirt.

When I absolutely have to use a public restroom than yes, I use my foot everytime.

Yes, I flush it with my foot, but i cant stand people who dont flush the toilet like the person that answered before me!! That is gross....

When ever possible! Or if is a urinal - my elbow.

Plus I always save the towel I washed my hansd with to open up the rest room doors before stepping out - then I throw it away.

No but I grab a towel after I wash AND dry my hands to open the bathroom door.
