I Was Born And Raised Here In California And I'm Of Mexican Descent But Every Time I've Heard Arabic Music I Absolutely Love It, Problem Is I Don't Know Any Names To Good Songs Or Artists. I Dont Understand A Word Of Arabic But The Music And Words Are Just Beautiful For Some Reason. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated Thanks In Advance :)

I like Hakim. Talakik (dunno if the spelling is right) is my FAVORITE song. If you want more arabic music, I have a few MP3s I can send you. I did belly dancing for a while so I have a bit of a passion for Arabic music

I highly recommend Hisham Abbas. He's a really popular Egpytian singer. You can actually download his songs from iTunes. Though they spell his name as Hesham Abbas.

"fayrouz" is the lebanese number one artist , her voice is amazing..and there's "amr diab" he's not bad too...and "melhem barakat" is great..and "george wassouf"..and "elissa" she's great..
