One of the commandments states that God is a jealous God and there shall be no others above him. How can people put Christ above him, and offer everything to Jesus or pray to Mary.

Oh and how come no one ever prays to the holy spirit?

Christians claim that their faith is the righteous one and believe in the new testament in the bible, but scriptures are still being found by archeologists. Muslims believe that their belief is the righteous one. Mormans, Jews, buddhist, catholics, scientology and thousands more believe the same about theirs. Either man is really confused or is there really the correct faith, belief, and/or religion?

What does God really have to say about rape from a Christian standpoint. I was raped and I got this email today about rape and the bible.... its really confuses and hurts me. i still deal with all the emotions and pain and trauma it has caused ...I have panic attacks and I self injure -- I found a church that I have come to trust... but at the same time I am scared ( the guy who raped me was the preachers SON at my mum's church) I am just confused.... plz help explain... thank you

This section of this forum is for everyone, so why the "Christians only!!!" questions?

It alienates others, and it is rude... very very rude.

I can answer many "Christians only" questions that I have seen lately...

For instance, this is a popular one... fave Bible verses.

My favorite Bible passage is the 23rd Psalm, because it is just beautiful poetry, with peaceful imagery. I love it.

Point is, many of us have been Christians, and we understand everything you are talking about. Many of us know the Bible well and even enjoy parts of it as well as parts of Christian wisdom/philosophy.

Why limit your answers and therefore what you might learn?

Besides, just as Christians are reading this and will likely answer, so will non-Christians when we see, "Christians ONLY!" So, what's the point?

That's why, if I wanted to pose questions to agnostics only, I'd go to an agnostic forum.

Jesus lived among the poor peoples and He died for the poor and sinners. Why most of our Christian priests including the Pope leading a luxurious life? Why they are wearing costly dressings while on Mass? Why they are using costly interior decorations in Churches? Why they are spending millions and millions for building churches? Is it necessary that Pope should lead a life as a normal man? If Pope believes Jesus was died for him why should he fear to lead normal life without high class security? A priest should be poorest among the poorest, which means he should only love his believers, not the money or power!

i mean Mecca is the most important place for moslems
as far as i know they celebrate there thier holidays ?

so why they need jerusalem ?

and also moslems in arab world when they speak about jerusalem

Has any other women seen the "White Wind" while giving birth. I have had 2 children both naturaly. and have seen a white wind sweep over me. duiring the birth of my daughter the dr.s were very rude to me and i started crying because i became very worried.... all of the sudden I saw a white wind rush over me and than there was an older lady right beside me telling me it was going to be ok. and she will never leave my mind. no one ells saw her. it was very special to me. and I felt like i knew her. was it just my mind trying to calm myself down or was she realy there? and when i told my husband about the white wind he told me that it was a Idian belief that the white wind seen during child birth was a Goddess ... that brought the life to the child... dose anyone ells know about this.? (seeing the older woman was with my second child birth). opinions?
