Here's what I believe God has to say...
DE 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them: for Jehovah thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. (Ps. 46:10)
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. (1 Peter 5:10)
ISA 61:8 For I, Jehovah, love justice, I hate robbery with iniquity;...
Jeh. 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.
Remember God is with you.

My dear,it sounds like you are blaming yourself. Please do not do this.It is not your fault and there is nothing that you can do to make it go away.I think the best thing for you to do is pray for this and pray for the one that has done this to you.He might have been a preachers son but that does not mean all preachers or their sons are like this.pray and try to locate others that have been raped and get together with them, form a group meeting aand talk about the positive things.I know there is not much positive that you can say about rape but you can communicate your feelings and see how others are coping with the problem. Is what will help the most by forming a group is to know that you are not alone and that your group may be able to help other rape victims by giving them someone to talk to.Spending your time helping others can give a person a state of mind that they are doing something to help others and will help yourself deal with the emotions better. As far as god is concerned in this case,The person that rapes will have a judgement day and god will deal with them personally.
Good luck and I will pray for you.

You are going to have to empower yourself. I am not telling you not to have a relationship with your Higher Power, but I will caution you against believing everything you hear from so-called spiritual people. It's going to take a long time for you to deal with this, but you need to stop self harming because you deserve better than that. You really do. Stop blaming yourself and letting others blame you. There is no excuse for taking away another persons personal power, whether that be through rape, murder, or through feeding a person a bunch of crap about religion. Your relationship with your God must be a personal experience, and not based on what someone tells you is their interpretation of it. I wish you the very best of luck and I'll be thinking of you from time to time in the next few days. I would pray but I don't think anyones God wants to hear from an atheist.

let's grant god does exist and that the classical theistic definition of god is true. that he is all good, all loving, all knowing and all just. why did he allow you to be raped if he's all that? why did'nt he prevent the rapist from violating your body thus causing you endless agony and pain?logic gives you only two possible explanation, that either god is not really true, that the description above is wrong, or god is true but for reasons unknown to us still allowed the rape to happen. in the present we will scrap the first possibility that god isnt really true, since we've already granted he exists. so what could be the reason why god allows rape, or for that matter evil in this world? honestly, i dont know. that's why i'm agnostic. but in the christian standpoint, they believe that the purpose of this life is not the pursuit of happiness, but the pursuit of the knowledge of god and that suffering is a part of that pursuit. they argue that we have a prior knowledge that rape is evil, that there are objective moral values which dictate us to abhor rape, murder, genocide. and that objective moral values could only come from an outside source, a god. so, in a sense, what the christians are saying is that although god allowing your being raped seems to contradict his existence,in a broader sense it verifies his existence when we condemn the rape since that validates that objective moral values exist. that rape is wrong independent of our subjective interpretation. hence, this argument.
If God does not exist, then objective moral values do not exist.
2. Evil exists. We experience evil and abhor it.
3. Therefore, objective moral values exist.
4. Therefore, God exists.

You need to trust yourself before you can put faith in something else. I'm sure it was not the Christians God's will to have you raped. People make the mistake of laying blame on their beliefs when really it's was the boy who commited the act. The boy chose to do this himself.Like you he has freewill and right now his action is governing your will. I believe he will suffer far greater then you in the end. So hold your head high and don't let that incident control your life or your emotions. You were strong enough to speak out, now be strong enough to overcome it and be unshaken in your faith.

Honestly, I can't give you a a place in the bible where you can look it up, but I will say this.. In my personal stand-point I dont think god, will take something out on you that wasn't in yourself control. It wasn't like you were asking for it and got what you asked for. I was raped a month ago, I'd neva had sex before, I was a complete virgin. I understand how confusing it can be, and honestly I still am. Like am I still a virgin or am I not?
I go to church every Sunday, and I pray everynight before I go to bed. After it happened to me, I got closer to god, and I hope you find it in your heart to too. God loves you just like he did before it all happened, so smile!!
If you need someone to talk to you can always contect me, I honestly wouldn't mind at all!

He's a sinner needing a Savior. There are others who have been abused by hypocrites in churches.
God will heal you from the deep wounds if you will let Him. Remember, God will never leave you or forsake you. Get a bible promise book with verses associated to your problems. Joyce Meyer is a great woman of Faith and she had been abused by someone she trusted when she was young. Another good web sight that my friend started is www.beautifulonemagazine.com and is for women.

i think of perchance a number of you adult men ought to tackle your perspectives on God and on rape. a super variety of the comments right here look slightly narrow minded to declare the least. Who suggested that God had to do away with all evil for you? Why could he enable undesirable issues ensue you ask ? properly why do human beings do them? What does God owe you precisely? You adult men flow on approximately rape as evidence that God does or would not exist because of the fact God has to think of such as you. perchance God made a savage perfect, violent, chuffed, unhappy, sort, egocentric and so on and so on backyard for us to stay in and perchance your petty concerns approximately what's authorized and what isn't are previous him. Rape is a destructive crime yet whilst violent procreation grow to be the element that stirred him to kill all of us could have been performed away with millennia in the past. nutrients for concept- all of us on the face of this planet has an ancestor who grow to be the fabricated from rape of their previous. 1000's of years in the past adult men and females who have been raped seen it interior an identical psychological section as taking a beating. it fairly is nonetheless used between animals to declare dominance and place interior the team. besides end telling God what he's- if he's up there perchance that fairly will make him offended.

The Bible says "Do unto others as ye would that men should do unto you." and "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." Which means that we don't do anything to another person that we wouldn't want done to ourselves. The perpetrator's being a preacher's son doesn't mean a thing. Human beings are all sinful.
God doesn't condone anyone harming one of His children. In fact, Zechariah 2:8 says, "For thus sayeth the Lord of Hosts...he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye."
I'm sorry you were hurt. God didn't do it and God doesn't condone it. But He will heal your heart if you ask Him.
Revelation 21:4 is a nice verse, too, for comfort.

I"m sorry to hear the trauma you have been going through. Please clarify the question you are asking. Are you wondering why God let it happen? How God can help you now? I'm not too sure what you mean by "Rape and God."

Well i encountered that too,its just that i was really young and i can't clearly remember who that person was but he or she is a close member of our family.
You have to deal with it.If you feel like the guy is making it uneasy for you to remain in that church ,find another church.
Not only will it affect your social life ,it will also affect your spiritual life with GOD ,your relationship with God might be impacted that you will feel like you are useless and unworthy.
You can find another church to trust again ,find another church .Begin a new chapter in that church ,and i pray that GOD will powerfully deal with the situation you are in.
