I think every one does not have to believe the way I do.

It becomes a problem when people begin to believe others have no right to believe differently than themselves. They start trying to force beliefs. That's not alright to do.

So, if they meant it as an insult, then it would be one. If they simply believe Muhammed is the most noble prophet, then it has nothing to do with my belief of Jesus Christ.

Moslims say so because Great Mohammad WAS the Greatest of all.It is written in Quran.Besides you can see how much christians respect their prophet Great Jesus and how much the followers of Moses do(Jews).Only Moslims truly love and respect their prophet that is the proof of his greatness. And Moslims also love and respect other prophets like Moses,Jesus,Abraham etc.But not equal to Mohammad.Moslims do respect other prophets because they are not like Christians who neither respect their own prophet nor prophets of Moslims or others.

Thats a good Question, thanks for Asking.

We reguard all the prophets with utmost respect. However, The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the leader of all the Prophets.

And We can find evidence from the Hadith, in which the Prophet Salallahu alayhi wa sallam(pbuh), told us the story of his night journey to the Heavens acsending from Jerusalem. It was there that the 5 Daily Prayers were established, among other things. and In the Narration, He (peace and Blessings be upon him) narrated that He lead all the other Prophets in Prayer.

It is also proven by the fact that when Jesus (peace be upon him) will return, He will return as a Follower of Muhammad. meaning, that He will rule by law of the Quran and Way of Muhammad Peace and blessings be upon him. and not by his own laws, when he was a prophet. (as some things that may have been Permissible in His prophethood such as alcohol are not permissible in The Prophethood of Muhammad, salallahu alayhi wa sallam)

wallahu alem(and Allah knows best)
good question! thanks for the opportunity to answer!

They thought he was the last prophet to be sent by god, they had no idea that Pat Robertson, Billy Graham & Jerry Falwell were going to show up. While Jesus walked on water, these guys fly in their private jets.

In the Islamic faith, Muhamed is the first to have proclaimed a belief in a singular god. One of the pillars of Islam is "There is no god but god, and Muhamed is the prophet of god". Monotheism was a challenge to the existing multi god religions of his contemparies. He was not welcomed. In fact, he was run out of town. He held fast to his beliefs.

As a Christian, I do not share those beliefs. I also do not view Jesus as a prophet. He is the Messiah, the fullfillment of prophecy (His words, not mine). In other faith based ideologies, there are other beliefs. I do not believe their goal is to insult us.

If you profess to be a Christian, please refer to Bible. Peter cut off the centurions ear in an effort to defend Jesus. What did Jesus do? It is clear that Jesus is here to assist us. He does not need us to be His protector. He is here to protect us.
