Jesus lived among the poor peoples and He died for the poor and sinners. Why most of our Christian priests including the Pope leading a luxurious life? Why they are wearing costly dressings while on Mass? Why they are using costly interior decorations in Churches? Why they are spending millions and millions for building churches? Is it necessary that Pope should lead a life as a normal man? If Pope believes Jesus was died for him why should he fear to lead normal life without high class security? A priest should be poorest among the poorest, which means he should only love his believers, not the money or power!

Jesus is the High priest after the order of Melchizedek in an everlasting Priesthood. He is the one who died on the cross for our sins and raised from the dead.
Everyone washed in the blood of the lamb is part of the priesthood. Every born again Christian. God is the God of more than enough with plenty left over. And He gives good gifts to His children.
Let go and let God.

Jesus's believers might think that He died for sinners. But in my opinion, his death was merely a way to demonstrate the power of the real God, who resurrected this dead Jesus.

so if ur dad was poor u must be poor?....jesus died for the poor so they could live a wonderful life...he didnt just die for the poor alone tho...he died for all of us so we accept that and we are cherished later on after we die...he gave us a world and he gave us oppurtunity and we choose wht we chose...just cuz people were poor dosent mean he died for the poor...he died for everyman...rich, poor, white, black, male, female....we all have the chance to be saved
