I've been blessed with an addictive personality.

So far in life I've gotten myself addicted to Pepsi, Coffee, Ensure, Orange Juice, Chocolate (I have never discriminated against any chocolate), smoking, drugs, alcohol, singing, bad boys, following the leader, rollerblading, and self-pity.

I've also been blessed with the power to overcome most of these addictions ... I'm left with Coffee, Chocolate (in moderation), singing, Italian men (oops it went from bad boys worse to Italian men), rollerblading, and laziness (more of a fear of change).

You may have the power to overcome your addiction, or it may linger your entire life ... I believe it's a combination of choice - destiny - and luck.

Smoking also - I have been smoking on and off for about 12 years (from about 16 to now).

I'm going on holiday next week, so it's another try at giving up whilst I'm away and the habits are easier to break! I've given up for 3-6 months four times and always started again. It's not the giving up that's hard, it's the staying given up!

Caffeine and Nicotine. Nothing like a good strong pot of coffee and a fresh pack of smokes to get the day started.
I don't smoke to look more mature. ( I have graying hair to do that for me ) I'm power smoking over here! I'm smoking for effect! I'm smokin' for the dope! Highest tar and nicotine cigarette on the market!

I used to smoke cigs, but gave them up about 10 years ago, and I was smoking weed like it was going out of style a while ago, but I gave that up too. Go figure, weed was causing giving me bowel problems, and as soon as I quit, it went away. Quit smoking OK honey, as it will shorten your life, and I for one would like you to live a long time.
