Faith appeals to human mind which by virtue of its own nature is prone to vacilate between options because of the special gift of choice and doubt outcome of results anticipated by actions. Any religious faith which is an embodiment of true love, humility and wisdom is based upon the compilation of all works of holy men of highest order of virtue and discrimination in the form sacred books likeTheHoly Bible orTheHoly Quoran.Just as the brain controlls all internal physical functions autonomously the voluntary actions controlled by the subtle functioning of mind together with intellect and intelligence needs to be guided along righteous paths avoiding all kinds of harm to onself and others. This implies reposing faith in the sacred injunctions recorded in Holy Books and implores an implicit order of obedience and a religious conduct of actions. The present day happenings point to ruthless actions of dogmatic conviction or religious conversions instead of conduct.Where is the error?

There is a year zero. Calendars serve humans. Humans don't serve the calendar. The one who orginally finished the gregorian calendar is wrong. This is the twenty-first century so we can fix it now. The year zero is 0 BC and 0 AD. The year zero is in the first century BC and the first century AD. So here is an example 99 BC -0 BC and 0 AD-99 AD. Somebody could add zero in the gregrioan caledandar. They changed the Julian Calendar. So why not change the gregorian calendar. I go with the calendar that reconize zero as a year. 2000 is the twenty-first century not the 20th century. The first two digits should never match the century. This equation is incorrect 2000 BC - 2000 AD would be 4,001 years. If you do the math it is 4,000 years. If you had a time machine you could travel to the year zero. Every number has a year, no expections. Basically the one who created the Gregorian calendar made a mistake. Either he didn't know about zero or refuse to use a zero.

I am a roman catholic. I walked in to a byzantine catholic church by mistake and thought it was a catholic one because of its similariity from the outside, and the chants. Everything was going ok, except that the priest was on his back, but i thought what the hell? they did this a long time ago anyways... and then At the time of communion, the priest got a spoon and fed everyone a spoonfull of something that tasted like fruit-pie and wine.. what was that? I couldnt get out of the line so i had to take te spoonfull.. lol what was it? what are the differences between roman catholics and byzantine catholics? why does the priest give mass on his back? please help me understand where i went and what i tasted ! thanks

aka born again christians? well i need help, my grandma thinks some really wierd things about how u get to heaven. like she thinks that yes u do have to ask the lord to forgive u but she also thinks that after that u have to be good. like once u sin u are not going to heaven unless you ask him to forgive u again? so how can i tell her that once u have Jesus in your life u are saved. there is no turning back even though u can still act like u don't have hi.. she reads the same Bible that we do. so are there any verses that i could show her. please help i don't know how to help her. she has her own thing going on here. i think that she got bits and pieces of different religions and took what she liked and left what she didn't like and made her own. she believes some other things that i won't go into detail about but could u give me any pointers on how i can tell her with some verse. if u could thank you. thanks to any one that took the time to read this and put an answer,

Obviously, Christendom was not the first religion to use the cross. Egyptians, Babylonians, and Assyrians all had crosses that they used in worship. Is it possible that Christendom borrowed the cross from religions such as these.?Especially considering that the cross does not appear in the original languages that the Bible was written in (the greek word 'staurous' appears instead).

Wikapedia says that the majority of those burned at the stake were actually christians!
Hello, there were given a chance to denounce they're beliefs and accept jesus or die. How could they have been christians! Where did they get their history backwards? Type in "burning times" and go to bottom.

Seekers are the people in the Bible who were willing to give their lives, so that other people can hear about Jesus and be saved. A few examples are Elijah, who was stoned and killed, but b4 he died he said, "Lord, forgive them. They don't know" and he died. Or what about the diciples? When Jesus took them into the room, and preached to them, they ran out into the streets speaking in tounges, and sum people were touched, others thought that they were drunk and crazy. Over 3 thousand people were saved that day. And they were saved by the words coming from the Seekers, and the words given to the Seekers by God. I want to be a Seeker. That is the legacy I want people to remember about me. Don't you?

Is the cross a form of idolatry? Is it right to venerate the object used to kill and torture Jesus?
Christians say they don't worship the cross, but I've seen stickers on the back of their cars with Calvin bowing down to the cross.
They also display it, and many face it during prayer.
