Buddhism is the only world religion where there is no concept of sin - there is only spiritual enlightenment and regression, but no actual 'punishment'. Which is healthy - a good thing.
Jesus is not in the psyche of Asians or Indians. Jesus was a prophet. He believed in his own divinity. If Jesus appeared in Israel today, he'd be put in a psychiatric institution.
Expecting every person on Earth to worship Jesus is ******** stupid. It's like me expecting a white man to be fluent in Turkish. How dare you not know how to speak Turkish! Why can't you cook authentic Lebanese cuisine? You're not Lebanese. Duh!

Hindus still have free will. Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world even before Jesus decided to come to the world. Christianity is only 2000 years old. And Hindus believe in GOD. Jesus is the son of GOD.
You have free will in everything you choose. You can choose to believe in GOD or the son of GOD. You can choose to be an atheist.
As you think Jesus is the saviour, may I ask why he was killed if he was the saviour? You are free to believe in what you want to believe in. One thing you must keep in mind. Dont force your views on others and dont force anyone to believe that Jesus is the only way. Jesus did not even write the bible. King Constantinople had a few people get together and write it.
I can assure you what is written in the bible is also available in older religions like Hinduism. So who came first?
I am not telling you that you should not believe in Jesus. If he is your saviour well good luck to you. I wish you all the best.
But when christianity and Islam start telling the world that they are right and everyone else wrong, the problems start.
Dont tell hindus what to do. They have a religion that would not even make sense to you. So leave them alone. Let them believe in their own religion. That is their right.
Just stop hurting them with asking their children to carry the cross for you. Stop squeezing the rest of the world and getting wealthier. And stop using people like Mother Teresa to go in and do charity work in INdia. I think she converted more people to Christianity than she healed.
I dont think Jesus wanted you to do all that.

Why have you left out Muslims, Jews, Jains, and a host of other branches of religions. There is no unity even amongst Christians and there is a diversity in beliefs and practices of Christians even within Europe and USA and if you stretch it to other places in the world it would get magnified. If you apply the yardstick of what is stated in Bible (there are various versions, many add ons and modifications and rulings in interpretation) hardly a few may be called true christians or true followers. In other words the world is full of sinners only be it christians or non christians.
In fact I was surprised to see the hype about banning the picture
based on DA VINCI CODE book. The faith of christians is shaken by such a fiction and their conviction is not strong. The worst part is that none worried so much in Christian world but in India only so much hype!!!!
The Hindu and Buddhist philosophy where so many gods are worshipped Jesus too would be and IS accepted as a savoiur
in their own faith and conviction which to others in other countries would be beyond comprehension
Go and see the VEKANKANNI VIRGIN MARY TEMPLE
The number of visits by Hindus who come to pray and drop offerings in the church collection box would far exceed christians
Hindus walk almost 500 KMs one way to that CHURCH bare foot to fulfill their vows. Most of them are uneducated villagers and commoners but their beliefs are stronger . In your yardstick they may be termed as sinners but remember what Jesus said
OH FAHER FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO (& SAY)
LET HIM WHO IS SIN FREE THROW THE FIRST STONE
AMEN

Hinduism is not a religion it is way of life. most of the Hindus have free will and worship various forms of gods.then the question of not accepting Jesus as Savior does not arise. about Buddhism, it is completely based on rationalism, non violence. the Buddha preached nonviolence and tolerance and rational thinking and disdained the caste system in India before Jesus was born.if you say if anybody does not accept Jesus as their Savior is a sin if means you are not a true christian. have you for got- love their neighbor and tolerance towards Jews preached by the Jesus

Free will means you have freedom to live your life as a spirit of God. Which means you can be Hindu, athiest - whatever.
Contrary to what your church may be teaching you, your choice was not a part of the deal that God and Jesus made together. Two unmoveable sources it says. Are we unmovable? Nope. We are constantly waivering and unreliable.
The law was there to prove that we could not live up to it. Thankfully Jesus made belief one of those laws too. Come on, his own apostles didn't fully believe Him. They had to see Him risen from the dead. All were found guilty so all could be redeemed under grace.
So simple. And so beautiful.
Thinking anything you do or believe will save you, is self righteous.

Of course, we all have free-will. I am a former Christian (even was a missionary) that is now a practicing Hindu. I have the free-will to make such a change in my life. I still have Jesus on my home altar and still honor him as a divine incarnation of God. However, my deepest most innermost prayers to God that I desired to know God more and to understand God and to love as God loves have all been made to manifest and grow now that I am a Hindu. I still hold great respect for Christianity and other religions, but my soul found its home in Hinduism and my relationship with God has continually expanded and deepened.
Peace be with you.

Speaking in favour of buddhists they feel to have a free will. It will as well influence their temporary existence as their deads in the past do.
The main goal for buddhists is to realize existence as it is. So they have to remove the hindrances which obscure their seeing the real nature of things. Buddha Shakyamuni found out that the major source of distraction is the greed in your mind, the attachment to pleasurable things and the rejection of unpleasurable ones.
So for buddhists the main work in this life is to be done by yourself, and nobody else can do it for you. There is no external saviour which can accomplish this task for you. It is your own choice to undergo this task or not.
It is a real pitty. Christians may have a more confortable life by only praying to god for salvation.

What the hell does that mean anyway? Christianity is so twisted i can't even believe, you cannot clearly and concisely tell me what a sin is, Ive been down that road with you guys before. You cannot clearly and concisely tell me what the difference between good and bad, went down that road also. so what on earth makes you think that if you cant clarify that for me that i would do anything like believe one person is going to be my gatekeeper when i leave this earth? Ill tell you what, you part the Red Sea for me right now and ill follow your belief! No religion has anything to offer me and I will never conform to any one ever! Including you messed up thinking.

All of us have a free will. This free will is not the idiocy which churches propagate.... it is a free will to analyse and chose.. and this free will depends upon our Mental evolution.
Hindus and buddhists have respect for Jesus taking him as a saint who preached truth
But we have our own deep philosophy dealing with the mystery of human life, universe, Truth and death and pains....so we really dont need a child's rambling abt some half-baked theories of god and hell and sin.
Hindus and buddhists do not condemn other faiths to hell ....because they know each one of us has to learn our lesson
When these blind followers have evolved mentally...they will understand may be after 1000 births. till then it is ok to believe.
But dont think small of other faiths....this is real stupidity

One can only reject Jesus if they have heard of Him. If hindus or buddist haven't heart the good news that reconciles them to God, them can't reject Him.
Sometimes people find God who aren't looking for Him. Those that seek Him will find Him. The more you find Him, the more you love Him.
God gives every one a choice to love Him or reject Him. The consequences of rejecting God's love forever will mean hell.
The sin the Holy Spirit convicts the world of (those who aren't reconciled to God yet) is not believing in Jesus Christ the Lord.
