No. Never. It is just a natural behaviour with male human and some other mammals due to hormone change in the body. But it is an avoidable natural conduct. The serum produced by the prostate and the testicles get strained by masturbation. That apart this is made of the essence in the blood. Hence, why to waste it, for a momentary pleasure.
There is nothing called sin. It is a word devised to create fear among the gullible with the fear of punishment by the invisible God. But actually, God is not a sadist that it will be happy to see His child punished. Yes, God has given us the faculty to distinguish what is good for us and what is bad for us. We should strive to do good things and avoid doing bad things. That is all!

Absolutely not.

Sexuality is a part of being human. If sex were meant to be for procreation only, couldn't God have found a less enjoyable way that results in procreation? i.e, an act that is solely out of necessity, and not enjoyable at all.

But if you believe in God, clearly this God created sex as pleasurable for men and women alike. I can use my hand to scratch an itch. Body parts usually have at more than one use - who's to say sex organs aren't the same way? To procreate, and also, for pleasure?

But yes - you fundamentalists call your God loving, but It creates life full of agony and discontent.

Masturbation is likened to increased self esteem, and more peaceful societies - why do you think those who advocate against it (Christian, Muslim, what not) often have violent sects? Sex and violence are quite connected.

Masturbate, relax, be nice to each other, and just pleace don't do it in public - that's all I'll ask :-)

yeh techinically it is, this one dude in the old testament 'spilt his seed' and it was an abomination in the Lords sight. I think also it depends on what u look at. Porn is evil and worse than u think. when u masterbate u covet or lust, also u commit adultery, against ur future/current wife. ITS also adultery against God, yeh i know its difficult, but i have noticed that many curses are linked to this kind of sin for me it was depression. rebuke the temptation in Jesus name. BTW its not a sin to get aroused, jus dont play on the thoughts. Ur a guy so it normao to have feelings, jus dont dwell on it. Remember everythin the bible says is for ur good, so even this. The bible is not some book of laws, it writes whats good for us-test the theory urself. God bless

It's no sin...sexuality is a God-given gift for us to enjoy to it's fullest expression. Without shame, fear or guilt. The so-called sin of sexuality is a human construct designed by early religious leaders to control the masses through fear-based living. Don't buy into it.

According to many preachers, masturbation is a sin. You are releasing sperm that is not going to be used for reproduction.

The LDS teaches that if you do .... it is a sin and you need to repent. I found this out when i was out with some other girls and they were talking a little about it ... of cause i said i did........ and they freaked....... they said i needed to repent.... well I'm not Mormon so i just laughed..... hey if you don't know how to please yourself how are you ever going to please someone ells....... I'm still modest about it..... I'm married so i think of my husband... but come one for those who don't...... how do you last when your spouse is gone for a business trip??? unless you are looking/thinking of the word sexual impurity. But who defines it? I know lust is. But if it isn't, then does anyone do it without lusting?
