O'Hare. Anyway, she was very bold to come out as an atheist the way she did, and during the 70's when there was such a resurgence in fundamental christianity. I actually spoke out againist her as a private school kid when a senator visited our school. ( Baptist school might I add)

I think she was a strong woman in a time when many werent. Not afraid to pursue what she felt was right.
She showed tremendous personal strength.

People like her can't stand the fact that others don't think like they do. I know someone like that, and he sees independent ideas as an attack on his opinions.
Maybe they start to doubt their own beliefs when they're around others who think differently?

I believe that woman had stirred up the most cauldrons of any of the witches.. .definitely changed lives in this country, and deaths...and Mens' relationships with women, women's relationships with their world and bodies. Wasn't she found beheaded??
