That is a total lie. Most Black people would like the crime to stop because we are usually always the victims. Most Black people that I see and know are hard-working, law-abiding citizens. I look around to see all these Black criminals that Whites speak about. What I see is mothers walking there kids to school. People carrying groceries. Fathers teaching their kids to ride a bike or skate. I see a parent wiping a kids nose. I see young people who hold a door open for someone elderly or for a person carrying a baby.
I see people going to the polls to vote for whoever can stop the violence. I hear of the crime but for the most part, Black people are not bad people. We are terrorfied of becoming statistics.

what I mean is do Americans have a more narrow-minded sense of gender roles than other socities. In this country (where I am from and have lived in my whole life it seems that all men are expected by women to be large, tough, strong, and never cry. Is this as true in other cultures? Or is it more true in America?

i've lost interest in hanging out with friends and stuff...
but i feel fine!?!?!
i just want to watch tv, do my hair, hang out, eat, hang on the computer(sometimes i use messenger), STUDY, do my HW, and work on my looks!!!
i dunno why because i used to be really into socializing and stuff...like...i've even lost interest in boys!
i know i'm straight, but i have no interest in getting a boyfriend or having crushes(which i used to be OBSESSED WITH)...
one day i just woke up and now i've been like this...
but why???
is this normal???
i just turned 17 and i'm very content--not unhappy or anything!!!

I saw a question, "Why today's teens and kids so dumb?" I completely disagree with this statement. Not because it offends me, I am 15, and it doesn't offend me, but because it is so untrue. I know that my generation acts dumb, and they do stupid things, but we are all great minds. My best friend gets horrible grades, and comes across as ignorant and stupid, but she is just the opposite. I do believe my generation is different, very much so. But I do not believe they are dumb, or stupid. We may come across that way, but if you were to sit down with some of my generation, they have many things to say. We have morals, and we have values, we are just misunderstood in so many ways. I know we're not adults, but we are going to be someday, and we will be voting for the future, and we will shape the future. Why would you think my generation is dumb, and/or stupid? Opinions?

I ordered a pizza yesterday, which for me and my kids, is a momentous occasion, as the money for that kind of thing is often non-existent. My friend/neighbor stopped by like 2 minutes after the delivery guy left (coincidence?) to tell me about her new car. As I was peeking out the window to get a glimpse of her new ride, she asked if she could have a slice. I said "sure", not thinking anything of it. I have a 4 and 5 yr old, both boys, that have a very healthy appetite for pizza, so they were already digging in themselves. I came back in the room and was surprised to see only a few pieces left. My sons had only had one each on their plates. She had even thrown her crusts back in the box!!! I think she is a great person, always doing favors for me, bringing me things. She usually goes through my cabinets and fridge, which doesn't bother me all that much, but this was particularly unnerving to me. How do I tell her, without sounding like a total *****, to back off the food??!

In my country some people do not have real arguments to blame me or to accuse me. At one point of time they felt so much inferior because of my development and they started to blame, insult me, accuse me and confuse and distract me. So they made so much presure on me that I really do not feel sane anymore.
How is possible that such losing people gain advantage by unfair methods instead of accepting that I am successfull. it is like some sport game winned with tricks and insults.
