i am 31 and have three children. life would be an awful lot easier if i did not have kids, but life wouldnt be as uplifting. i am studying at college and have a great future ahead of me, and my kids will benefit from all my hard work. (holidays to fantastic countries, good education, a lovely home) They also make life a lot more interesting and challenging.

I definitely feel like I missed out not having children. I am not able to. So I am divorced and single with a great career and I spend that disposable income on remodeling my house and camping and traveling. I do wish I was able to have children because thats something I have always wanted. But you have to tell yourself that this is the way it's going to be and accept it. So I have and I have a good life, I would like to marry again someday.

I'm 32 and am happy with myself. I am enjoying life just the way I like it. My life is not boring at all, but I am not like the other 30 year-olds. I'm studying and working....
Without children there's still not free time, since the apparent free time is filled up with other things that people with children might not do.
I think there are good things in having children and not having children, maybe I wish I had some children. Perhaps a father would wish he was childless, but as long as you are happy with yourself, you will see the success of your life, either in your personal career, or in the way you have raised your children.

This is a very personal question that every couple has to answer for them self. Some couples do not need children to feel accomplished and some could not feel so with out them. Not having children can have great benifits such as ability to travel easily and without much notice. Having children can also have great benifits.

Have fun, did they miss out? Well that would be a question to pose to those who are married without children. This is a choice if one does not want children it should not be thought as that they have missed out. They have simply made choices that are good for them. God bless****

They travel, buy big houses, plan for their retirement, get great jobs, move around and have a good time. Having children is not what it is cracked up to be. If I had it to do over again, as much as I love my kid; I would not have children.

I love & admire a cool young male friend in this
exact situation. He has paid down his credit debt, doesn't waste money, he saves it,started an investment portfolio for himself and took up
mountain bike riding, and sees his family, not
just with his wife. She has her interests, not
just the home they share after work. They are
better grounded for the unexpected.

Well, if you've made the choice to keep your 30s kid free, I imagine it's because you've got a plan for your spare time.
