My friend's brother is a drug dealer, doesn't go to school and lives in his mom's basement...he stopped selling for a bit and didn't have any money, and was always complaining about how broke he is..So, I got him a good job that pays $10 an hour and has very good hours, and he went to the interview, got hired, but never showed up for his first day...Are drug dealers just lazy or do they have some kind of social anxiety disorder so they are scared to go to work with real people or something?

I am a late 30s old spinster handmaid. Where I work I love to provide outstanding service to my customers. I've had women customers comment to me saying: "Oh, you'll get married soon, and you'll see that special someone." Or another one I worked for said out of the blue: "Don't worry, you'll find the right one." You won't be single for long."

I mean that is nice and all but they just say it out of the blue and for no reason. I can't stand it when people try to predict my future. Because I wouldn't predict someone elses. I would never say it to a unmarried girl. Obviously she is unmarried for a good reason. Your thoughts.......

I have a lot of good friends and lead a pretty good life. I'm always shy around other kids at school and everyone else like that though. I dont like talking infront of big groups or my crush. I do talk, but rarely around other people. Do you have any advise or tips on how to grow out of shyness?
I would like to talk more infront of other people, but I dont want to seem annoying or anything.

Sometimes even when I have a huge crowd of friends or family I feel rather alone.. in fact, I feel lonely almost all the time and of course I can't go around telling that to people. It's been happening for a long time now and I just can't make myself happy. I am content with my life, just not so happy with it.

Could this be depression? Because I dont think distracting myself works..

Any ideas?

This is probably kind of sad since this i am a psychology student and i know this person from a psychology class but i am not sure what to make of him.

It seems like, any time a guy tries to talk to him, he won't really talk back. I have seen others try but also when i tried today to ask him about an assignment, he said "i don't know what you are talking about, i don't know anything about it." However, when a girl asked him about it later on, he gave her some detailed explantion (which ended up being right), talked about how he had done it, and so on.

I have noticed, he does not talk to guys, only girls. This isn't just with me but with any guy. Any time a guy asks him something, anytime a guy tries to say something to him, he won't engage them back. But when a girl does (even ones he doesn't know), he won't shut up.

Plus, he appears to tell made up stories when girls are around. He acts really bizarre. What the hell is this guy's problem?

i often have this nightmare where im sleeping or running trying to save my self from snakes....and sometimes i wake up panicking or run out of my room screaming and then after few seconds i will realize that it had been a bad dream....it happens to me alot with different animals but my biggest fear is snakes....im scared of dogs, cats, snakes, lizards and etc...whenever i see a dog on street i change my route or cross road to the other side where i wouldn;t interact with the dog...so i was wondering if it is normal to have these fears at age of 16...or am i a psycho? or crazy or do i neeed to see a psychiatrist???
P.S i wasn't grew up in animal enviroment

Someone who dosent want to improve their situation and instead will wallow in it. Is this choice real? Do they really want to live that way or lets say when the opportunity presents itself to become better they refuse to be involved? why is that?

I might have a problem. Yep, I know people keep asking this, as if we on Yahoo would know. OK, I wonder myself, and as yet there is no medical verdict, but I will have to deal with it, and it will mean surgery, and I am scared. There are so many things I don't know about my condition. It's like a bad dream.

My question is, how do you all believe it yourselves, and then decide who to tell, and when? Do you tell a selfish friend, and hope that they have seen it all before? Do you run it by the most intolerant first? Or do you practise on a kind person?

When every case is different, how do you listen to all those
advisors who have no business knowing what your symptoms are? (How do you tell them to butt out? How does anyone?)

If you need to tell another person who is not so close, how do you raise the subject? I do know two people who will be insulted that I didn't confide in them first. But I really don't need them making me into a project. Who do I tell first?

Maybe you can help me find a starting point for helping one of my preschool students. This is a female child, age 3.5. I don't know how to phrase this in a PC way, so I'll just say it - she acts as if she is retarded. Please don't take offense, anyone. I'm talking about a sort of stereotypical "retarded" behavior in which the person smiles or laughs, makes verbalizations like "ahhhhh," while looking all around the room or sort of flopping around on the floor. She also does not respond to her own name about 75% of the time. She is not an unhappy child, but certain things can set off intense/violent fits of hysteria during which she is inconsolable. She has an extremely short attention span for her age. She has no social relationships with any other child, but seems quite happy. Yet... she has an incredible vocabulary, more advanced than any other child in the class. She knows her colors, numbers, and letters. Something is very wrong, but it's not intelligence. Any ideas?

Recently I went to my dad's school to visit and every single teacher's first reaction was "oh your son is so cute/good looking/handsome".

I know this comes off as a very conceited question, but hey it did happen and it's the internet so whatever, anyway were they just being polite or were they serious?

I kinda want to know because my self esteem went up haha.

Ok, I fooled around 3-5 times w/ my friend I'm getting 2 know. She even commented 2 me how meaningful the sex felt to her, & how exposed she felt to me. We just have this big-time chemistry between us...almost electric.I bit her on a nerve on her neck 1 night on accident & it freaked her out. I apologized several times, she said it's all good. We hung out & had sex a 2 nights after that & hung out & had a great time each night after that for 2 nights. Then I didn't hear from her for 4 days. Finally 2 nights ago I sent her a txt message saying, "If I weirded you out, or made you mad somehow, I'm sorry." The next day (yesterday) she sent me a message saying "I just needed a break for a while, our friendship isn't lost. The bite on the neck just ****** me up, I guess." I sent her a text message today & nothing. What should I do? I'm getting tired of women who say they're falling or act as tho they're in love & then u have sex w/ them & poof they're gone! What do I do about this girl?
