This is probably kind of sad since this i am a psychology student and i know this person from a psychology class but i am not sure what to make of him.
It seems like, any time a guy tries to talk to him, he won't really talk back. I have seen others try but also when i tried today to ask him about an assignment, he said "i don't know what you are talking about, i don't know anything about it." However, when a girl asked him about it later on, he gave her some detailed explantion (which ended up being right), talked about how he had done it, and so on.
I have noticed, he does not talk to guys, only girls. This isn't just with me but with any guy. Any time a guy asks him something, anytime a guy tries to say something to him, he won't engage them back. But when a girl does (even ones he doesn't know), he won't shut up.
Plus, he appears to tell made up stories when girls are around. He acts really bizarre. What the hell is this guy's problem?

Also, it didn't seem like, at least when i tried to talk to him, the "leave me along, i am trying to get a date" kind of deal, since there were no girls around.

I care because i have to sit by him and keep hearing his made up stories and seeing his strange behavior.

This may be a guy that is facing his sexuality and does not want to admit it! He may be gay and refuses to believe it, and therefore talking to guys may give a hint to someone so he reassures himself but soley talking to females!! I studied an issue like this for one of my psychology classes!

Hi Jackdaniels, It sounds to me that he really likes guys and is maybe a cross-dresser or something like that. He doesn't talk to guys cause he is afraid of being found out. For what I understand the men have something called gaydar and can pick them out of a crowd. It sounds like when he talks to some woman they must be wearing some sort of clothing that he likes and wants so just sit back in the class and watch and you will see it happen,,,I knew a guy in school that was just like that and he is now a she so just check it out,,,Bob.

Sounds like he's working on his game in getting some; or maybe all of the girls. Smart guy, reminds me of me. I don't know him but I like his style!

Maybe he's just confused about himself or sexuality. You should give him a few days. and when your talking with him, try to be more understanding or down to earth espcially, If he likes talking to girls.
