I know a family where the half-sisters (20's) used to physically abused the child. Thankfully, they are now out of that environment. However, when the child is gone, does an abuser physically lash-out on someone else?? Just curious.

Sometimes late at night, when I'm watching TV I'll be dozing off in that place where I'm not fully awake but I'm not fully asleep.. just barely conscious.. and then my entire body will literally just JUMP suddenly and wake me up, like a reaction you'd get to some seriously ice-cold water being poured on you, except even more. Any reason why this happens? It doesn't happen all the time, just every once in a while. Kind of annoying.

I always think of different business ideas. I think of one every other day or so. I have never acted on any of them because I don't have much confidence. Some of the ideas I have thought of I see people making millions on? Do other people do this? Why do I do this?

How can I become more articulate when I talk to people.

I mean like being able to get my ideas across clearly, being able to explain things well, being more confident with speech etc.
It would be great if I could be more articulate as I am starting college soon and one of my subjects is Higher English.

i'm guessing reading books would be a good way, can anyone help me out?

I constantly find myself saying 'I don't know' to this person. I am not one to make up stories or answer something for someone else. He called it obtuse questions, but I think there is another term out there?

and happier in certain countries? for example would a misanthrope or loner live more happier in canada or france and maybe choosing the people he wants to mix with and be friends with, as opposed to say living in britain where as i see it....its a society you have to conform to..outside, independant mentality is opposed..so a misathropist or loner or person who had a set of strong ideals and a certain notion about how he wants to live, wouldnt be happy?
i could be wrong bout this...just wanting to know what you thought about this?
