is there any test applied by american psychologists to know whether one is a radical, liberal or a conservative? Rajamanickam's radicalism-conservatism attitude scale is used by indian psychologists.

I don't know that you'd find a non-controversial form of the test. There have been some proposed, but they are challenged by some people (pretty much all Conservatives) who claim these tests are discredited.

Theodor Adorno proposed an "F-scale" measurement of authoritarian Right personality after WWII.

I am sure people have developed questionnaires, but I do not think that there are any formal tools. I think certain concepts, such as conservatism, liberalism, and radicalism, are fluid concepts that change over time. In other words, what would define these concepts will change over time. The concept of democracy brought about by the American Revolution was considered radical in its day, but today would be considered conservative.
